Good unique food

We ate at the zinc a couple of times and the food is always really good. The steaks are great but the brick oven pizza is the best. We actually like to eat in The Hearth side of the restraurants. Really limited menu though but if you want a nice house salad and pizza its the best.

We were so lucky to find this wonderful bistro through TripAdvisor. Excellent food, service and wine/beer list. The Steak Tartare was the best I have had in the USA - I always use this dish as my litmus test for French Restaurants. My wife's Prosciutto wrapped Trout was delicious. Thoroughly well worth the diversion to this excellent establishment.

One of the few restaurants in northern Ohio that is worthy of a 4 star rating (out of 5). Excellent food and wine selection along with a nice atmosphere. Would recommend making reservations.

If you are a foodie who likes well done mixed drinks and excellent wine selection then you need to try Zinc. Wines are very reasonably priced. The owner/chef is creative. Good bar scene, try the cucumber martini

I have reviewed this restaurant a couple of years ago but they have moved into a nicer larger space and the offerings continue to be cutting edge. Fortunately, they continue to offer their lobster bisque, a delicious terrine of lobster chunks and bisque, covered by puff pastry. Be careful as the bisque is quite hot... I suggest you take the... The wife and I visited on a Saturday night, it was fairly busy. We went with an order of mussels, woodfired oysters and the farmstead pizza. The food was fantastic, and the service was good. My only complaint is their beer selection. I am craft beer IPA nut, not really any good ones to choose from. I settled on a... More

I would say this is probably one of the best restaurants in the Sandusky area. Loved the decor in a beautifully restored building downtown near the water. The meal was excellent in both presentation and taste!

First time to the relocated Zinc. More airy and brighter than the previous location that we visited a few times a year. You can rely om getting something that will be flavorful and delicious. They're always coming up with great tasting dishes
