The kids loved how the bowling alley was attached to this restaurant. Food was good bar food and the beers were cold. We all liked all the TV's everywhere as well as the tall tables and chairs.

Our food took slightly longer to arrive than expected but it was delicious! Well worth the wait. Prices were very reasonable.

I come to Sandusky every year with my family, my brother and his family and also an uncle with his family. We always eat at the Thirsty Pony and have never been disappointed with the food or the service. Yes because we are a party of 13 or more we wait for a table, but it's well worth it!!!

Hungry, thirsty, competitive dancers - most of them anyways - then there were us parents! The restaurant did an outstanding job accommodating our group and also writing separate checks for us! The food was served promptly and warm! I had the lake perch sandwich and was certainly in heaven. Many of us had their appetizers and they were yummy. There... More

Went in for a late dinner/drinks after a visit to Cedar Point. Greeted quickly and seated immediately. Menu is very diverse, many selections. Our waitress was top notch. Good recommendations for entrees. Get the "Thigh high" reasonable price for a souvenir container. Over all, I will drive the 350 miles to eat here again. Not to be missed.

I have been to The Thirsty Pony at least two times if not three. I love that they have a rather big selection of food. My waitress tonight was very friendly and never slow or lacking anything. The atmosphere is fun. And the way it's decorated is unique, fun and inviting. Coming in you know you're going to have a... More

We go here for dinner every time we go to sandusky/lake erie. Never have had a bad experience, the food is always good as is the service. Frickers wings are the best!

I wAnt to thank you for gauging my 4,5 7 year old on there drinks no kids drinks so they make you pay for and adult beverage and poor service. The quality of food has gone down and the service is slow. You have to ask your server more than once to bring you everything because as he said we... More

On our first night in town we stopped by the Thirsty Pony for dinner. We weren't disappointed. The service was good, the food was excellent. We even bowled and played some arcade games after dinner. The kids enjoyed it so much they lobbied to go back a second time. During our second visit we were seated immediately. No one came... More
