Great Food and Drinks!

We wanted Mexican food one night while visiting Sandusky. The atmosphere in this restaurant is cheesy but perfect!!!! The color, the donkey, the music - it's all fun! I had the chimichanga and a top shelf margarita which were both delicious! The queso was great. Everyone enjoyed their food. My... read more

We did take out because we had been out all day and the kids were tired. My husband said the restaurant was very nice and clean and they couldn't have treated him any better. My husband had carnitas and I had deep fried seafood burritos. Both were excellent. Next time we're in Sandusky we will go there for dinner. Wish... More

If you like chain style tex mex this is NOT that. This is authentic freshly prepared meals, we loved it. My husband had the burrito, I had fajitas, daughter had chicken. All were tasty and nicely presented. It lacks the flash of a chain style place and all that salt and fake flavoring is not there, so it's more like... More

I do not care for the Mexican restaurant in Port Clinton to say the least so I wait until we are by the mall and stop here. The food and prices are equal to all other mid-priced Mexican restaurants meaning not earth shattering but better than Taco Bell.

The restaurant is small but quaint. It's located across the street from the hotel so it was pretty convenient. We were told it was "real" Mexican, rather than Tex Mex. When we arrived the host was fairly disinterested. Our party of 4 was seated in a booth near the bar. The place was fairly busy which was nice. Since we... More

Multiple hairs in our salsa and chips and server was rude along with manager about the hairs in our chips. So me and my family left and didn't even stay for our main meals. I will never go back and will be sure to tell everyone I know not to go there, I guarantee they won't be in business very... More

Standard at best. . For a sit down place, far below average. . 10 bux for 3 tacos, that were plain, greasy and just not good.. runny refi beans as well.. This is a huge skip for me. .

Ate here with my family and everybody loved it. The Texan fajitas were especially good. Service was friendly and prompt. This is a great hole in the wall Mexican restaurant.

great potential but it just doesn't quite measure up. as I have said over and over.....we are from west Texas and are accustomed to very good Mexican food. when we walked in to this place we thought we were back home. it had all the ingredients but to our dismay the food just missed the mark.

My wife and I visited cedar point recently and stayed at the la Quinta inn. On our 2nd night, we checked out reviews on here and saw that Casa Real was rated really well and was across the street. I had a craving for Mexican food and it was awesome. Our bill was about $25 total for the two of... More
