A Reynoldsburg Staple

This is an icon in Reynoldsburg. If you want to eat like a local I highly recommend this place. The salads have chow mein noodles that give me a wonderful crunch - the house dressing is Italian. The barbecue sauce tangy without being too spicy and there are several sandwiches on the menu if you... read more

Dry extremely chewy ribs (I can make better at home). Service took forever to seat us, get drinks, give check. AND it is pricey, for my wife, myself and 1 child you can expect a check of about $60.

Hickory house has been around for years. Everything I have ever had there had been excellent. Their ribs are falling off the bone wonderful. I also love their large grilled chicken salad. The house dressing is great. Service is good but you may have a long wait if you go during prime dinner hours. Overall, worth the wait.

We count Hickory House as on of our favorite local restaurants. Their ribs are the best in town (as well as among the best in the state.) They have other excellent menu items as well; the porterhouse steak is enough to feed a small town, the pork chops are juicy, tender and plentiful, and their side dishes are very good.... More

The best burger in town. Love the staff and the place is very clean. You have to try the ribs as well. Family owned place they are always the best.

This is honestly the best rib place ever. We've traveled through Memphis and the Carolina's and always try the ribs but none can compare with these in Ohio. I know, crazy! The are the most tender, fall off the bone ribs you'll ever have. And with no sauce so all you get is flavorful pork without being drenched in sauce.... More

Went to Hickory House on July 16, 2015. Food was not bad. The ribs and the filet were cooked well and had good flavor. The service was okay and the atmosphere was just okay also. All in all not bad there was just nothing that said oh you need to come back.

My wonderful mother in law asked to go to Hickory House Restaurant for her birthday to have great ribs. Being from Texas getting BBQ ribs elsewhere is usually a pitiful situation. Not so at the Hickory House Restaurant. We all ordered the lunch ribs special, which is just shy of a half rack. They were so delicious that we bought... More

Stopped in on Saturday night before going out with the wife. We eat there at least one a month and never had a bad experience until this recent visit. Our server seemed overwhelming with the amount of tables she was taking care of. After we got seated it took about 25 minutes to take our order. The server seemed in... More
