Best kept secret

The Goat is known for their awesome souls but you can't find a better meal on the island. It is more pricey than most places on the island but well wort it. If you have never been there, you will probably have to ask how to get there.

Most of our family and friends live just over on the mainland so we are on South Bass Island quite a bit during the summer. We decided to try this place to get away from the usual touristy bar scene and we were glad we did. Very nice restaurant and bar area. I didn't have any food but a few... More

Hayley was our server and she was nice. Had the same thing I had last visit a year ago and it was just as good. This place has outdoor seating and very relaxed atmosphere. This place has different soups every day to choose from; I know because we ate here two days in a row. It is that good! Perch... More

Went here for the first time. The food, drinks, and service were all very good. The strawberry basil mojito and the Moscow mule were made to perfection.

Good menu. Great soup! Off the main drag, but still a place I like to go for lunch when I'm on the island!

They have excellent basil and mint mojitos and perch tacos. Love sitting on their large covered porch.

Stopped in Goat Soup and Whiskey after visiting one of the PIB wineries. The outdoor seating area is adorable! Great weather made the scenery just perfect for an impromptu lunch. The Reuben balls are so good! Picture all the fixings of a reuben sandwich deep fried in ball form. In fact, I'd like to even try to make them. The... More
