My girlfriend and I chose this restaurant at random on a recent stay in PIB. The service and food are unrivaled on the island and we could not have been more pleased with our meal.

The food was great from start to finish. The Perch Tacos were AWESOME. Having never wanted to try a fish taco, I was brave , YUMMY. Walleye Oscar at supper, was wonderful. Staff was friendly, Relaxing, yet romantic setting. Best place on the Island we found

I live on Kelleys Island in the summer and it is mandatory I go to Put-in-Bay at least once and eat at Goat Soup & Whiskey!!! I always sit at the bar. Once I was there during the dinner crowd and the bartenders were so busy working the service bar that the bar patrons suffered. But every other time I've... More

Girlfriend and I had a wonderful meal on the outdoor patio during our stay South Bass. She had the chicken parmesan and thought it was delicious. I had the Rose Plate...a sampling of two homemade soups and salad. The soups were both delicious (the mushroom was one of the best I've ever tasted) and the salad was fresh. I also... More

We loved it so much we ate here twice in 4 days! The first day I had a walleye oscar which was excellent! Then we went back for their famous perch tacos, which were very enjoyable. i wouldn't miss this restaurant if you're looking for a good meal!

We went there for dinner. A sign out front said that a private party reserved the restaurant. We still looked at the posted dinner menu, as we intended to return in the future. We noticed several people sitting at the bar. I inquired of the staff if they were serving dinner (at the bar). I was abruptly told that they... More

We always eat at Goat at least once while we're on South Bass Island. Never had a bad meal here and the servers are always efficient if not overly personable. Good portions of good food equals good value.

Wonderful meal and great experience. Their perch tacos are outstanding and the portions were very good. Very good family atmosphere, as there are board games for kids to play with while the food is being prepared. Compared with other places on the island, this is one of the best places to have a great meal, away from the abnoxiousness near... More

Because it's just outside of town, you dont feel like you're in a tourist trap. We stopped here after wine tasting. Nice afternoon lunch on the patio. Would definitely go back!

We sat on the patio over the Chocolate Factory museum/ice cream store! Perch tacos were outstanding! Generous portions can order I-2-3 tacos or more depending on how hungry you are(all sandwiches come with French fries). My husband had perch hoagie which he was happy with( more bread that you get with tacos). We both had soup, chicken green chili and... More
