Don't go to put-in-bay often, think I got too old to put up with drunken youth, tho I use to be one of em, but when I do I get away from the strip and head to the Goat. Always treated as a friend by the bartenders. I love the perch tacos and the soups are some of the best.... More

The Goat is by far our favorite restaurant on Put-in-Bay. The menu is diverse, the food is wonderful, and the staff are friendly and fantastic. High recommendations for The Goat!!!

Near the end of the season (late September) my girlfriend and I had a wonderful dinner here. It was recommended to us by the owners of the bed and breakfast we stayed at, The Black Squirrel. Apparently, the restaurant gets home grown tomatoes from them. Anyway, the dining room was open and airy, there were only a few other people... More

This was our second time at the Goat Soup and Whiskey and it was even better than we remembered it! We went for the first time last year and made it a priority to stop back this year and we are VERY glad we did! I had the reuben and it was by far the most delicious reuben I have... More

Oh my, I can't say enough great things about this place. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Comfy atmosphere, good service, good wine, and THE FOOD...my mouth filled up with saliva just thinking about it. I came on a Monday night and ordered seafood fettuccini and it was incredible. Boyfriend got seafood mac & cheese which... More

We visited Put-in-Bay and hopped a taxi to the Goat based upon other reviews. The food was so-so, and because it was late in the season, several of their menu items were not available. I ordered a ribeye steak, and it was very fatty. My biscuit was hard as a rock, and I had to send it back. I think... More

Have only been here once, but I am still dreaming about their perch taco's. Having never had perch or a fish taco in my life I decided to play it safe and order something else (good, but not outstanding), but I was intrigued by the sign advertising their legendary taco's so I ordered one a la carte. Oh boy! I... More

Staff was wonderful, felt the perch tacos were a little light. Lunches are a bit pricy for what you get

Nice place. Quality food at reasonable prices. Homemade soups are delicious. The walleye is delicious as well as the perch tacos. The appetizers offered are delicious. They have games and etch a sketch for children and adults to enjoy. Nice atmosphere.
