Worth the Walk

After spending a few hours at the winery, we stopped at the Goat Soup and Whiskey for dinner. We shared a couple appetizers. The pierogis were delicious! Also, our server was very friendly. We had walked to the winery and it's worth walking away from the "downtown" area to eat at Goat Soup.

We always drive by this place or buy some goodies from the shop downstairs. We decided to give this a try. I am so glad we did. The fresh vegetable soup was so tasty and flavorful and the fish tacos were not made like any I ever had before. We really enjoyed this lunch.

They are located a bit off the beaten path. We each had the tasty perch tacos and the pierogi appetizer was very good. Very nice patio

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Put in Bay. You have to try the perch tacos....fabulous. Wouldn't think of visiting Put in Bay without going to the Goat.

Excellent bar selections and the food ain't bad either. A little off the beaten path, but still a reasonable walk from "downtown" PIB. We've eaten here on prior visits and don't no why we don't stop by every time we are on the island.

We stopped here to get out of the rain. While we did not enjoy the delicious-sounding soups on the menu, we did enjoy some drinks with exceptional service. Want to go back to try the soup!

Had supper here our first night on the island. The food was kinda expensive, so we just ordered sandwiches. Our bill was just under $50.00 for the two of us.

The reviews rank this 2nd in PIB and there's a reason- it's as advertised. The perch tacos were fantastic. The service was great. The atmosphere on the veranda was peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommend.

I love visiting for perch tacos and soup. They have gardens around the restaurant where they grow their fresh ingredients. The service is always great too. Don't forget to try a fresh mojito or strawberry margarita!
