An enjoyable, kitcy place

This a fire department themed restaurant. It is always crowded and vey well respected among the locals. They do a surprisingly good mussel dish, and have the typical pub fare to be expected in an American pub. I was disappointed that they ditched their all beef hotdogs, but there is still... read more

This a fire department themed restaurant. It is always crowded and vey well respected among the locals. They do a surprisingly good mussel dish, and have the typical pub fare to be expected in an American pub. I was disappointed that they ditched their all beef hotdogs, but there is still enough of a variety that even the pickiest families... More

I'm not usually in this part of town, but this is a great place to eat if you are! An homage to firefighters everywhere, the place is decorated with equipment and t-shirts representing firehouses from all over. The menu has a large variety and everyone will find something to eat. The beer selection is excellent and the cocktails are creative... More

Four of us went to Gooseneck Tavern on a recent Saturday night. The host said they were busier than normal because of the homecoming crowd, but we were seated within 10 minutes. Our server was polite and attentive, but told us up front they were running behind and our order would take longer than usual. He checked on us frequently... More

We frequent the Gooseneck Tavern and our last few visits have been sub-par. Our last visit our server barely came to check on us and we kept having to ask for drink refills. Then our appetizer never came out. They brought our dinners out and when I mentioned we didn't get our appetizer our server had no idea because he... More

Second time here on a weekend. Great bartender (Samantha) and the place is fun! Love the decor!!! Firefighter memorabilia and sports bar! Lots of TV's, GREAT beer selection and tasty food!!!! If you're here for a Buckeye game get the fried mushrooms and the Hot Dog sliders! Delish!

My husband had the day off and we had no kids so we decided to try a new place around our neighborhood. We have always wanted to try the tavern so today we did. We went in and sat in the bar area. They had different taps online for the beers and even had a root beer, We ordered, I... More

Been here quite a few times for lunch. Nice restaurant but I've always eaten in the bar because of atmosphere. Daily lunch specials which are always good. They even offer liver and onions one day which most restaurants steer clear of. Hamburgers are excellent and I highly recommend the Asiago burger, Also suggest the Oriental Chicken salad which could feed... More

They have a a great selection of appetizers at happy hour. The entrees in the dining room are also very good. This is all topped off by a great staff of servers and bartenders.

We were in the Powell area on business and were looking for someplace that was not fast food or a chain and read some favorable reviews of Gooseneck. The decor is OK...kind of a fire house theme with an overlay of kitsch but it was OK and had kind of a dark clubby feel. The food and drinks however, were... More

This is a great little neighborhood pub. Friendly service and really good food. The Turkey Ruben is made with carved, roasted turkey breast - not lunchmeat. It is outstanding. The meatloaf is incredible and the 7 onion soup is delicious. You can also order light sides like steamed broccoli.
