The Scioto Ribber, or Ribber as the local folks call it, has been a go to place for quality smoked ribs, steak, chicken and other items. I don't really know anyone who doesn't like the Scioto Ribber. They have another restaurant that is a micro-brewery and they sell the same beer there too. They... read more

Visited The Ribber on a Thursday nite for dinner w/a friend. The place was swamped and we were put on a wait list...an hour later, we got a table, and an hour after that...we got food! It was OK, but pricey. We had the chicken and pork ribs.

As soon as you approach the restaurant, the smell of the meat on the grill drifts through the air. You can wait outside by the grills or inside. The casual, friendly atmosphere makes the long wait tolerable although you continue to grow hungrier by the minute from the scent. Once our food arrived, my husband stated it was the best... More

My GF and I have eaten here several times... Atmosphere and food is the best... You should have a good appetite when you go because they are not afraid to feed you... Food out weighs the price by far... Go early or you may have to wait for seating... Plenty of parking and your mouth starts to water if you... More

Great food! Ribs are good but the steaks are the best!!! The kids (boy-11 & girl-7) all eat the steak!! Have to get the Ribeye (cooked medium), ribber fries, and German cole slaw. And don't forget the rolls with their BBQ sauce on them for the appetizer! :)

The atmosphere and cleanliness of the restaurant is not the finest but the food is amazing! This was absolutely the best steak I've ever had! Order their steaks medium if you normally like them medium rare! Pork chops are great also!

The Scioto Ribber is a great place to meet family/friends for dinner, especially since it's a halfway point for each of us. We can get together, enjoy great food (steaks are awesome as are ribs and peanut butter pie!) and the service/atmosphere is congenial and super. Love going there!

After much hype we checked out the Ribber..It was nothing that changed my life. It's dark and the food is mediocre at best. The sides are tiny. I've eaten there at least 3 times so it's had a fair shot. I've had the "ribs" which were tasteless and the chicken that tasted like ashes. I wouldn't have returned myself after... More

The people are nice but the organization from kitchen to table needs worked on. Fortunately the quality of the food made up for waiting on one entree and ending up w someone else's. The food is awesome. Just go in w a laid back attitude and enjoy what steak should taste like.
