Used to be open for lunch during weekdays and was not too crowded, prices just right. We went on Sunday and they had a very nice, reasonable Brunch Buffet and also ordering off the menu. The quality of the food at Mon Ami and the atmosphere are always tops! It is a very nice place to dine, wait staff is... More

We have always wanted to try Mon Ami Seafood Buffet. So we went for our 30th wedding anniversary - the buffet was great. There were plenty of dishes to choose from my favorite was crab legs.

We wanted to go to Mon Ami for dinner after our drive along Lake Avenue. When we got there we found out it would be 2-1/2 hour wait. I'm sorry but no restaurant is worth me standing for 2-1/2 hours. I don't care how good the food is. If it is that busy all the time on the weekends, they... More

My family visited the Port Clinton area returning after a visit 20+ years ago. My elderly father has fond memories of this restaurant so we returned. We were not disappointed. Definitely a place to dine when you're in this area. The salmon dish was excellent..no one was disappointed with their food!

We always enjoy a visit to Mon Ami. Most recently, my husband and I dined here with my parents for an early supper, and the food was delicious, as always. The meals that we had were open faced prime rib sandwich, wedge salad, walleye sandwich, and chicken Marsala. We were seated in the chalet area, which is nice but can... More

We did not eat here only stopping for some wine tasting. Bought several bottles at very reasonable prices.. The grounds and restaurant looked very nice and had a large crowd when we were there.

We travel to the Port Clinton area quite often and after several people telling us we have to go to Mon Ami, we finally decided to stop in and see what it was like. The place was very large and quite beautiful. There was a live band outside and it was moderately busy on Labor Day afternoon. Right off the... More

Our friends just got married here, labor day weekend 2014 and we had a wonderful time. The ambiance was perfect and the food and drinks were delicious. I must commend the staff for their excellent customer service. One downside, the mosquitoes got me! Note to self, on a return visit cover up or spray down if I want to enjoy... More

Their Sunday brunch buffet is awesome. Would have liked to try their Saturday seafood buffet! Have gone for lunch too and the burgers are very, very good. Nice atmosphere, beautiful grounds and building.

The big advantage to this place is cheap wine, provided that you like those made from the catawba grape, $10-15 per bottle. The restaurant and its surroundings are also beautiful and well designed. So what could go wrong? In the main area, there was an all you could eat seafood buffet which was such a good deal at $35 that... More
