One person in our party who grew up eating Baha California Mexican food said it's the most authentic Mexican food she's had outside of hole-in-the-wall places in SoCal. Too bad several of the reviews were written by people who think the Americanized stuff at chain “Mexican” restaurants or their clones is "authentic." Worse than Taco Bell. Service was ok. People were very nice and friendly. The food was barely edible.

I liked the convenience of walking over to the restaurant, but as far as the food goes, it was just "okay". The building seems as if it needs a complete overhaul, as its appearance can and does deter potential diners.

Visited this restaurant "off-season" so sat inside. Not very clean looking and food was about the same. Would not return or recommend this place.

My husband ordered a wet taco salad and I had a chicken enchilada. Both were very good. Nothing fancy here, except for the dessert. The chimichanga was good -- not great, but good.
