Jolly Roger is always a scheduled visit when we're near Port Clinton. Their perch and walleye platters are some of the best dinners on the Great Lakes. Breaded in front of your eyes, then fried and served piping hot with coleslaw and a generous helping of handcut fries. MMmmmm!

If you are visiting the Lakes and wish to try the perch or walleye of the region, I highly suggest Jolly Roger as there is NO other place that does it better. Having grown up in Port Clinton, it goes without saying that everyone in the area knows that this is the one and only place for the absolute best... More

Won't be returning to this place. The fish itself was good, but the breading was just plain corn meal and had no taste or flavor. The tartar sauce is terrible, tasted old. The shrimp was not good at all and the waffle fries were not cooked properly. They were not cooked all the way. I agree with Chris H.

Food had no taste. Maybe they forgot to put some of the seasonings in the coating. Waffle french fries were not good and the cole slaw was to runny.

Well, I haven't been to the area in about 20 years. Glad I returned and decided to have a late lunch at this place. It's cute. Clean. Best darn iced tea I have ever had. I am addicted. Within our group was ordered two kids fish meals (snow scrod), an order of mushrooms, two shrimp salads, an oyster platter and... More

I love great food and this place came through. Call ahead and get carry out then you can eat along the waters edge on out on the boat. This place is always busy.

Don't be put off by the title of this review.... the fish is very good, but everything is fried. If you want Lake Erie walleye or perch straight off the boat this is the place to go. My favorite is the perch; sweet, not fishy, well-cooked. The sides are either fries or onion rings (fried) and cole slaw (very mayonnaisey)... More

I've been going there for the last 10 yrs. while I am at Port Clinton. The food is always good and they got a varity of fish to choose from. The fish is fresh and I guess it comes from there at Lake Erie. Will eat there again when I go back up this fall.
