I was really enthralled with this place. It's in a great location on the lake, lots of sand and, god willing, a beautiful sunset. I'm from Cleveland so perhaps one expects too much from this idyllic location. So, let's get real. It could be a great tiki bar but it isn't. The clientele is too eh.hh, well, family oriented (with... More

View is pretty, food was pricey and mediochre, service was sub-par. None of the staff seemed to care. Even the bar drinks were bad...sent Long Islands back.

No indoor seating that accommodated us. Bar area was packed, servers were busy, drinks were served in cheap plastic cups, food over priced

Dock's beach House is one of our favorite get-aways, but unfortunately, the staff and service is always bad. Staff does not smile and it takes a very long time to get waited on. I can understand if it's extremely busy but we have never been there when it was packed and we always get the same treatment. Bar tenders act... More

The atmosphere is wonderful with being directly on the water and having a beach you can walk out onto. The food is bar food nothing spectacular. The bar staff are unfriendly and don't know how to say thank you and should probably go work on put in Bay with their attitudes where everyone is drunk and don't care.

Found by taking a stroll of the area. Thursday night entertainment was Fantastic. Spoke to some regulars who gave us the history....we love this kind of story! Also Blessed to have Perfect weather on our visit.

This is not a fancy restaurant, so the pricing does seem to be a bit high for the kind of place this is. However, I do expect to pay a little more for seafood and the options range depending on the sophistication of the item. For example you can get fish or shrimp sandwiches and wraps or a Mediterranean or... More

We had 3 days in Port Clinton and ate at Dock's twice. The lunch food experience was very very good and we thoroughly enjoyed eating at the outside bar in the evening. We did not find anything anywhere near as good in Port Clinton. We will be spending a great deal of time in the area in the future and... More

Sit and have drinks and/or food waterfront on Lake Erie. We stopped in late afternoon on a Sat and it was busy but we didn't wait. We sat outside at a table on the deck. Live (LoUd) music was playing over toward the bar area. Server was attentive and friendly. Drinks were good. Food was decent but overpriced for what... More
