My Daughter and I have been eating here for years, Great authentic Thai food. That lady that owns the place often takes your order and cooks the meal also. The food has so much flavor I cant say enough about how good the food is here. 5 Star. If you like your food Hot please let her know she will... More

I can confirm most of the other reviews. Basic strip mall place, next to a grocer. Seems like there were maybe two people doing everything. Not fancy. However, and here is the important part, the food was very, very good. We ate wonton soup (kids), spring rolls ((homemade and yummy, sweet and sour chicken (my son), pad Thai, tom yum... More

I agree with many of the other reviews. The food is the best Thai I have tasted. Love the Tom Kha Gai and the Pho soup. Drunken noodles are also great. And they know how to turn up the spice if you ask, watch out! We usually do take out from this place as the inside is lacking in atmosphere.... More

Decent, solid, average are three words I'd used to describe. Decent service, don't seel alcohol - but allow you to bring your own, there is also a liquor store down the road.

I'm a Toledo Native but I have lived in many places and I'm active duty military so I know Asian Food. I currently live in Los Angeles and I frequent Thai town. This place is very good. It is excellent if you can deal with some distractors like a staff of two people which means slower service. They recently renovated... More

If you haven't tried Thai food yet, then Bangkok Cafe is the place to begin. If you have, then you know Bangkok Cafe is the best! The owner Toi is very friendly and will make to order a dish that will exceed all your expectations. The red curry is really the best I have had in all the Thai places... More

My partner and I have tried a lot of Thai restaurants and we were wowed by the flavors at this one. Tom yum, papaya salad, spring rolls, green curry - everything was delicious. A family business with very simple decor and a little Asian grocery next door.

The Bangkok Cafe is our go-to place for Thai food on the East side of Toledo. Located in a strip mall on Woodville Road in Northwood it's the kind of place you might skip based on the external view. The cafe shares an entrance with the Thai grocery store next door. The waitress is usually the owner who is courteous... More

My husband and I discovered this place by accident several years ago and now we get food here about once a month. The family who runs it do a great job. The food is excellent, portions are generous and the little grocery attached to the restaurant is a gem. We will continue to go back again and again!

It's attached to a Thai grocery and owned and run by Thais. The food is the real deal and was delicious. They can even bring you the "real" peppers that they grow themselves if you can take the heat!
