A little gem of a surprise!

we were at the Mt. Hope auction and hungry, so we decided to give Mrs. Yoders a try. We were pleasantly surprised and delighted at how tasty the salad bar was. It was a light lunch so we didn't try anything else but definitely worth the stop!

This is a homey, unpretentious little diner in the middle of a small town. You can look out the windows and watch local Amish ride by in their buggies or bicycles. The biggest draw is the buffet that features fried chicken, ham, or hamburger steak, along with the plethora of starches: mashed potatoes, dressing, noodles, and vegetables sides. There is... More

Buffet was good. We've had more variety at other Amish restaurants. The floors were filthy, which led us to wonder about the rest of the place. The service was very good.

We wanted to go to dinner someplace we had not been before. We are so glad we picked this place!! When we got there the place was packed. As we found out Wednesday evenings are special. They have their "Super Salad Bar". It is the salad bar PLUS all the fried chicken you can eat, two different kinds of soups,... More

We frequent Mrs. Yoders when we are down in the area on a day trip as well as if we spend the night in the area. Their lunch and dinner buffet is excellent as well as their salad bar. We both took advantage of the dinner buffet this time as their Broasted Chicken is really great and all the food... More

Stopped in for late lunch. Did not have to eat dinner later!!! The salad and fruit bar had plenty of choices. The buffet was very good also. We were there on an auction day was they still got us in and seated quickly!!

If you like the homemade food, like mashed potatoes, vegetables, fried chicken, etc this place is what you want. I feel most places in Amish country that advertise this kind of meal are all about the same. We've eaten at several and I can't say one is better than another

We have been to Amish country many times but this is the first time we had dinner at Mrs. Yoder's. In celebration of St. Patrick's day they had an Irish buffet. The food was delicious, fresh and hot. The service was excellent and the restaurant is spacious and clean. If you are in the area stop by and have a... More

We have eaten at most restaurants from New Philly to Millersburg to Orrville and this is the best by far. Great service, very clean and delicious homemade foods. Not commercialized like the other "so-called" Amish restaurants. The family works at facility and they are the nicest people you will ever meet. The buffet is small but excellent. I am not... More
