always eat with Mrs. Yoder

A trip for Amish country for me almost always includes a trip to Mrs. Yoder's. We ate on the bonus buffet night and enjoyed rivel soup, and some extra special desserts.

We thought this place would be more home style amish cooking than the other places around and based on reviews here we stopped for lunch. Plenty of parking onsite. Walked in and the place is extremely congested. Very crowded inside and the tables are very close together. People bumped into us leaving as we were coming in. Lady at the... More

Friendly and watchful and attentive wait staff; hosts or watchful and gracious, too. Food is fresh, and lots of it. You can order off a menu or enjoy the buffet. Main-meal buffet (breakfast, lunch, dinner), salad bar, dessert buffet, too. Locals eat here; we like to eat in places that the local residents eat in, too; it's not pretentious, and... More

I think this is a bit too much of a mass production type restaurant. It isn't like a small mom and pop type restaurant. The food was okay but not anything special.

We stopped here on a recent Saturday for a meal and found it to be worth the stop. The service was fast and friendly, the buffet had lots of choices, and the soup included with the buffet was delicious. Cost was appropriate for quality. As a sidenote, as we were leaving there was a party of approximately 20 Amish locals... More

I've been going to amish country for the past 15 years, and just found this hidden gem on my last trip. This is by far my new favorite restaurant. If you want the feeling of a home cooked meal, this is the place to go. I get the dinner buffet, which usually features a few different meats, mashed potatoes, and... More

Dinner at Mary Yoders Restaurant was wonderful. The turkey dinner was the best we have ever had. The pie we had for dessert was delicious.

Our first visit and the buffet was very good with a nice variety. The home made bread was just like my Aunt used to make. Get the rhubarb pie!!!

Mrs Yoder's Kitchen was recommended by a friend who always eats there when she travels to Amish Country. We by-passed it a couple times because we went to the Mt Hope Auction and my husband loves the hamburgers they serve at their lunch counter. This trip, we made a point of going to Mrs Yoder's for dinner, and so glad... More
