This palce is at best average --chicken was good --small buffet --fish and shrimp were both over fried --they mentioned spare ribs but at 5; 30 when we arrived they were out of them ---No question this is where all the local folks dine but we found it mediocre

We ate here twice while in the area, both at breakfast. We ordered from the menu the first time. Our eggs were cooked perfectly. The homefries were delicious and the bacon was really good. We had the buffet on Saturday morning the second time, and I was a little disappointed. The food wasn't as good as the day before. The... More

The wait at dinnertime was zero and the place was packed. People were leaving and the staff was seating people quickly and nicely. The staff was working hard and it was evident. Our food arrived quickly and cooked perfect. The veggies on our plate were farm fresh...I could tell. The manager was visiting every table to make sure everything was... More

Had a really tasty lunch here. Special of the day was Ham Loaf..mmmm Never had it before, was really good. Has a mild BBQ type sauce on it. And salad bar was very fresh and lots of choices. Had mashed potatoes...can't say I'd choose that again for this meal.... unless they could substitute the ham loaf sauce for the dark... More

This is probably my favorite restaurant in the Amish Counrty. It is located in Mt. Hope and is very popular. A great menu of typically Amish style foods, such as chicken, roast beef and turkey. Has a great buffet and reasonably priced. One of their specialty dishes is their "Wedding Steak" It is very rich and delicious. They also serve... More

I believe this beats Der Dutchman! Ate from the buffet. Very clean, fresh selections. Roast, chicken, turkey, mash potatoes, fresh corn cut off the cob! Green beans... Salad bar had good selection. Staff was very nice. I could go here every day! Don't miss the peanut butter spread on the table and apple butter with your bread! Mmm!

My wife and I had been shopping not far from Mrs. Yoder's and the salesperson suggested going there for dinner. We arrived around 5:15 for dinner and were seated promptly. Most customers choose the buffet but we ordered the broasted chicken from the menu. A terrific meal..great chicken and excellent mashed potatoes. Again, upon the suggestion of the salesperson that... We ate at Mrs. Yoder's Kitchen on our way to Schrock's Amish farm. The food was SO good....a little expensive but fresh and tasty. It was great to pick anything on the buffet and love it! I was disappointed there wasn't dessert included with the buffet. The waitress was very friendly and gave my daughter such an interesting toy to... More
