Dining at Honey Run

Food was great, but the dining area was quite cold. Hostess moved us to a different area, but it was just as cold there.

This was one of the best breakfast experiences I have ever had. Food was amazing. The view with wildlife was awesome. The dining room was very well decorated and cozy. It was very expensive but sometimes it is worth it and that is what I found at Tarragon.

The tarragon has a great selection, a lovely environment, ams fantastic service (Jessica!). We athe breakfast and dinner there dieting our stay at Honey Run Inn and will certainly be returning for the restaurant on a regular basis. The wine and drink selection was impressive as were all the little details of the environment. Very enjoyable.

We stayed at a neighboring hotel for my Birthday weekend and decided to go to a nice restaurant for dinner. Unfortunately there are not a lot of choices in the area, so decided to try Tarragon. First off, my husband and I were by far the youngest people in the restaurant by at least 10-15 years. It is my distinct... More

While the food was good, to us it was just too pricey. If we didn't have the Living Social deal that included a free breakfast, we would have paid $70.00 for 2 meals, 2 cups of coffee and 2 mimosas.

This restaurant was wonderful and the view cannot be beat. We ate lunch and breakfast at Tarragon and loved everything! The best thing about lunch was the homemade bread and the homemade tater tots. I enjoyed the Rueben and the sweet potato fries and my husband went with the burger and a tomato soup. The soup was especially tasty, as... More

Had a "chefs tasting" and everything was delicious. Had a few things that I would never have ordered on my own but after having them here, would order again! Seating slightly slow even though we had reservations. Summer dining is probably even more enjoyable with all the windows .

Beautifully cooked steaks for dinner, excellent wine, can't beat the setting. Service from friendly, local, well-trained staff. The continental breakfast is awesome - oatmeal, savory or sweet breads, fresh fruit, juice, yoghurt.

Tarragon restaurant way too expensive for the quality. The former owners provided a charm that is currently lacking at the Inn.

Dear Maggie, It is true that since I purchased The Inn at Honey Run in 2009, we’ve taken on new projects and made a few updates, always with the goal of enhancing Honey Run's unique atmosphere. The creative, seasonally inspired menus at Tarragon are a change that we are especially proud of, and using the best ingredients is equally important... More

We had the opportunity to have two meals during our stay at Honey Run. The food was very good and the service was excellent. We were fortunate to be seated at windows on both occasions and were able to enjoy the beautiful views. A great alternative to the corporate, mega-buffets in the surrounding Amish countryside.
