Dining at Honey Run

Food was great, but the dining area was quite cold. Hostess moved us to a different area, but it was just as cold there.

Staying at The Inn at Honey Run was a relaxing and restful experience- from the food to the room to the service. We ate two breakfasts and two dinners at Tarragon. The ambience is wonderful with many large windows allowing a view of squirrels and birds. The food was outstanding with interesting selections. The staff was welcoming and friendly. We... More

We had a fabulous dinner here. I wanted a light meal and the staff was very accommodating. I had a salad, and side dishes of risotto with brussel sprouts (incredible!) and asparagus (among the best I've ever had). My husbands pork dish was equally as enjoyable. And such a nice change from the standard heavy carb, and veggie-lite offerings at... More

While staying at the Inn we enjoyed two dinners and two breakfasts. The food & service offered at each meal were truly exceptional. The clams were simply the best ever with a rich broth & tomato basil bread. Although I enjoyed my entrees both evenings, I will definitely order the clams next time! The view is lovely -- very serene... More

My husband and I have eaten at the Tarragon a few times. I have read some reviews stating the menu was small and didn't have very much to offer, I have to disagree a little. The menu is smaller but covers all tastes and foods, I always have the Scallops with whatever they are being paired with and my husband... More

Nice is a polite word that describes something that is just that...average, fine, not bad, mediocre, acceptable. That's how I would describe the menu, food, service, atmosphere and wine/beverage list...but NOT the pricing. The menu is limited to about 4 items under each category (apps, salads/sides, entrees, and desserts), but we found it a little boring! Food preparation and presentation... More

This was one of the best breakfast experiences I have ever had. Food was amazing. The view with wildlife was awesome. The dining room was very well decorated and cozy. It was very expensive but sometimes it is worth it and that is what I found at Tarragon.

The tarragon has a great selection, a lovely environment, ams fantastic service (Jessica!). We athe breakfast and dinner there dieting our stay at Honey Run Inn and will certainly be returning for the restaurant on a regular basis. The wine and drink selection was impressive as were all the little details of the environment. Very enjoyable.
