Our group of 4 enjoyed 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners here during a two night stay and were very pleased. The service was consistently excellent and friendly. Our requests for tables overlooking the woods were honored every time. The roasted butternut squash soup is highly recommended. The steak entree was also perfectly prepared and very tasty too. The excellent fresh... More

We stayed at the Inn at Honey Run this weekend and were delighted to receive a breakfast package from the Tarragon restaurant. The food was very good and we also stopped in for dessert one evening and a continental breakfast on our last day. The dinner menu did not allow for any "lighter" fare - no sandwiches or appetizers...just expensive... More

Tarragon has an innovative menu including vegetarian options. My autumn vegetable panzanella was a very good combination of roasted butternut squash, apples, bread moistened with an apple cider reduction. The roasted tofu was drizzled with the cider as well. My husband ordered the strip steak. It was perfectly grilled. The service was very attentive yet not intrusive. Our window table... More

We have partaken of breakfast, lunch and dinner at Tarragon. The menu is seasonal and creative! There are choices for one with a plant based diet as well as fish and meat options. It is so nice to have varied vegetable choices! Each meal was an adventure and the presentation was as good as the taste. The environment is upscale.... More

We went here on Valentine's Day. The atmosphere, food and service were all top-notch. Definitely get reservations as the couple in front of us tried to walk-up and it was booked until 8:45 (then again, it was Valentine's). It is the area's only fine dining alternative to tourist-driven Amish-style glorified cafeterias, and the pricing demonstrates they are aware of this.... More

Very good menu, different. Not a huge dining room but that makes it cozy. Little bar area with sections of love seats and chairs, quaint.

We did enjoy the meal. But you don't get much for the price. And, unfortunately, our waitress was not having a good evening. I ordered duck, and she brought me quail. My fiancee's steak was good, but nothing special.

Food is expensive and very gourmet. I would much prefer more Amish type of food. We had to drive to another town to eat. There is no other restaurant close by. Since we stayed at the Inn in January, that meant a drive out in the cold and dark when we would prefer to eat in the hotel. The restaurant... More

First of all, if you are used to fine dining, this place might suit you. Second of all, fine dining is expensive, so I can understand if my review is a typical reaction of people who don't do fine dining. My wife and I were there for three hours. I think that's the longest time I sat on a chair... More
