Went for an anniversary dinner. Small menu but covered all tastes and foods which is nice not to have too many options. Wife ordered the Scallops with Palenta... cooked to perfection. I had the Pork Shank which was awesome but the Brussel Sprouts with Bacon stole the show. Delicious. Great service and atmosphere. Went back for breakfast the next day.

Dining room has lovely views of surrounding woods, calming water panel, and above-average cuisine. There was an emphasis on locally-acquired menu items. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent, with a wide variety of choices.

Menu is small but covered most types of food. Service was a little slow but acceptable. My steak was very undercooked even though I explained to the Server how I like it done. The salad and sides were very good. Scalloped potatoes were amazing. Dinner was a bit high priced especially were you add the side dishes but overall a... More

Nice and quiet atmosphere. Food was delicious. I had a glass of the house wine. It was Merlot- very rich and had good taste. Dining room is very clean and well decorated. The restaurant is a little pricy but we did not mind to pay because their chef does amazing job. I hope to come back there soon.

My husband and I were visiting Berlin, Ohio and asked someone for a restaurant suggestion. I must say that we were pleasantly pleased with this restaurant. We just showed up without reservations and were lucky enough to get a seat. I had the trout and my husband had the scallops. We were both very pleased. Just the right amount of... More

We are sitting here right now, waiting for our salads. We arrived at 7:15 on a Thursday without reservations. They told us we would be seated at 7:45 or 7:50. Hey, fair enough. This place is well known in the area. We were seated in the lounge while we waited. Long story short, our drinks didn't show up until after... More

Dear M., Thanks for letting us know about your dinner at Tarragon. Please accept our apologies for a wait that was longer than you had anticipated. Thursday nights are typically busy ones, and because our dishes are all cooked fresh to order, they can take longer to prepare and present properly. However, it is essential to have your martini arrive... More

The food was excellent but very expensive. Service was excellent. Reservations recommended. Great for a special occasion. Expect to spend some time there as it is fine dining and very leisurely served.
