The restaurant was very clean and off the beaten path, not as crowded. Delicious food and excellant service. As we were walking up to the front door my husband said this place looks expensive, but we went in anyway. Everything was reasonably priced and was very good, friendly environment.

Now owned by the same group that owns Der Dutchman and that has kicked up the food a notch. Great salad bar and baked goods. Has some items not always found on Amish restaurant menus like pork & sauerkraut, maple custard pie.

I really loved this restaurant. The wait staff was very friendly and very helpful. When you travel to the Amish Country, you have to try the chicken. It is the best I have ever had. Like every buffet I have ever been to in the Amish Country, there is plenty of food and it never stops coming. It gets very... More

Loved this place. I'm a stickler for service, and the service here exceeded my expectations. My server Pam was Awesome, she made us feel so special. I would go back just because of her. The food was good. We got the buffet, and everything on it was delicious, fresh, and ready to smash. Overall a good food, and would recommend... More

Very good food and lots of sweets to buy on your way out! The service was excellent also! My husband is still talking about the chicken and dressing.

My husband ordered the broasted chicken dinner with mashed potatoes/gravy and the steamed veges, he barely finished the meal. I had the roast beef dinner with stuffing/grave and noodles, the whole meal was excellent. My husband ordered chocolate cream pie to go, he raved about it the whole weekend.

The dishes at the Farmstead are very well prepared, & the restaurant is VERY clean. We arrived for dinner at the Farmstead on a Sat evening not long before closing. Anyone who visits Ohio Amish Country knows that Sat is a super-busy day for the restaurants in that area. I've been in many others where the salad bar is a... More
