We stop here every time we visit Amish country. There is an amazing petting zoo that's the best! Our 2year old granddaughter was able to kiss a little tiny baby goat & that picture I captured is priceless! The store has just about anything you could need & the bakery has the biggest best cream filled donuts I've ever seen!... More

They sell Puppies from puppy mills as well as feed goats sugar to get them on the roof. Diabetic goats.

The best way to learn about another culture is to visit some of the stores and places that cater to the people of the area. The Amish approach to food and shopping is very interesting, so don't hesitate to stop to have a look and buy some road snacks while traveling.

My wife and I visit Amish Country occasionally and when we do, we normally make a stop at Hershbergers. We really enjoy the wide variety of baked goods and candies that they stock. In the fall around Thanksgiving and Christmas we really like their Soft Carmel Chocolate Turtles and normally stock up for the Holidays. During the summer, the younger... More

Here is a fun place to stop to feed the animals and pick-up some produce or baked goods. There are many great bakeries in the area but this one allows you to let the kids enjoy the stop too! Be prepared to spend a few dollars (not a lot) if you have children along. They are going to want to... More

This farm has great appeal and there is a wide range of things to do. Animals, food, shopping, gift shop, and rides. My husband and I stopped by with friends and spent most of the morning here. Lots of fresh bakery items.

Oh my, their warm cinnamon rolls and warm breads early in the morning are DELICIOUS! Their fry pies were great too. We love going by and seeing Ben, their huge horse and feeding the animals. The man making kettle korn over a wood fire is always a must too. I visited with him and he was very nice & interesting... More

We make a 4 hour trip at least twice a year to visit the area. One of the highlights is always our visit to this family run farmer's market. Their baked goods are incredibly fresh and tasty, especially the fried pies. Kids will enjoy the goats, some even on the barn roof. Note that they don't accept credit cards, but... More
