After reading all the reviews about their horrible food, I was shocked. I visited on a Friday and the place was full. We had a 15 minute wait for anything other than the bar. I had the ribs and shrimp and he had the ribs and wings. Wings... yes, horrible, they were very dry and the sauce they drizzled on... More

The food was very good, but the sports bar was not what we were looking for in Amish Country. However, it was one of the few places open on Sunday evening.

In this Amish area it's hard to find places open that will serve meals on Sunday. What's even worse it's harder to find any alcohol with a meal. Bags offers at least wine and beer on Sunday. This Pub is located in downtown and parking is a small issue. The menu is small, the food was good, and the service... More

Most of the food on the menu seemed like typical sports-bar fare. But the jambalaya soup was quite a surprise! It would have felt right at home on a table in southern Louisiana--not too spicey but with a nice kick to it.

Had dinner at Bags which was only fair. We seated ourselves and waited and waited to be approached, even though multiple servers walked by constantly. Finally got a beer then waited and waited to place dinner order. Our server had disappeared Finally got an order in for chicken quesadilla and berry salad. Salad was quite good, the quesadilla horrible. The... More

It's HARD to find a restaurant open on Sunday in Amish country, and especially one past 3 PM. We Googled and Tripadvisored every restaurant in 25 miles and read reviews and hoped the Tripadvisor Gods would shine on us. This was a birthday lunch for me, so I really had even higher hopes. We decided on this Bags. We waited... More

We stopped in here for lunch since it is open on Sunday. We got the pretzel burgers...and they were fantastic. We were also pleasantly surprised at the ambiance. It was decorated nicely with fairly private booths and despite being a pub, the noise level was quite acceptable (we hate noisy places). Next time we are in the area, we will... More
