If you are traveling on route 71 outside of Cleveland I would highly recommend stopping here. I had the BBQ combo platter and it was excellent. The portions were very generous and I was not able to finish mine. They also make their own beer. I tried the stout and thought it was very good. My traveling companion had the... More

The carrot cake desert plate alone is enough reason to make the trip to this unpretentious converted barn pub. This is the best BBQ I've ever had. Smoked and charred chicken and ribs and tender brisket. Collard greens, beans, and a slightly sweet cornbread make a well rounded southern BBQ meal right here in NW Medina. Great selection of creative... More

My 4th visit to this alleged BBQ restaurant. The brisket has been dry, unflavored, and uninspired. The pork is still asking why they gave their lives to be treated in such a inhumane way. This restaurant does not care. A free for all, in their menu explains everything you need to know about this hack restaurant. I have never been... More

They use full size adult chicken wings that are extra meaty. An order is a enough for an adult meal. The big butt sandwich as it is referred too on the menu is a great big hoagie loaded with pulled pork. Service is good to great, depending when you go, and they have a St. Pattys day celebration that should... More

It used to be a place we would like to go... However, It's NOT the same. First of all they had like NO heat in there, Secondly, The food tasted OLD, THE Pulled Pork, as well as the Ribs. I asked for a piece of Cornbread (usually Barbeque joints always have the Cornbread with your e-mail - No - not... More

While traveling, my wife and I had the opportunity to visit Lager Heads. If you are near Medina, you need to add this restaurant/pub to your list of Must Stop locations. We were allowed two of their beers to sample before having to pick one beer. Combine this with the smoked menu and you can't go wrong.

We love Lager Heads! You can smell the delicious barbecue cooking as you pull up to the restaurant. The wings are absolutely delicious as is the brisket. We like to go on Saturday night for the prime rib special. Also, for a side, you must try the greens which are seasoned to perfection. Lager Heads brews their own beer which... More
