The Price Has Now Out-Stripped the Product

We have been eating here since it opened, having enthusiastically supported Mancy's Steakhouse. The ambience is excellent. We have been eating here since it opened, having enthusiastically supported Mancy's Steakhouse. The ambience is excellent. The location is convenient to all of southern Lucas County and Northern Wood County: an easy 10-minutes' drive from Perrysburg. We have probably dined here 25-30 times. However, the last few times we have left feeling like the price has out-stripped the product... More

I was notified via email that Mancy's Blue Water Grille was doing something special for St. Patty's Day to include (for $30): shrimp boil, reuben egg rolls, jigs dinner, 4 beer tickets. It sounded fun and reasonable so I signed on. What was NOT mentioned was that this affair was to be held outdoors (45 degrees and falling), the only... More

I had heard from several people that this was a great seafood restaurant. I was very disappointed, especially for the price. Maybe my standards are high after living in Seattle, Los Angeles, and New York, but I don't think Nancy's is up to par with good restaurants anywhere. First, the food. I ordered the seared ahi tuna and my companion... More

Freezing cold inside (the outlets at the table had air FLOW coming inside), high of 8 degrees today. Slow service. Sub-par and not hot food. I've had better fresher seafood from bars for a cheaper price. The atmosphere could be nice if you weren't shivering. Not that it matters, but even the napkins were all tattered and worn.

We just happened on this restaurant as we were driving by and stopped in for lunch, which turned out to be delightful. The service was excellent and so was the food. Also just a lovely physical space--we were most happy that we found this restaurant, and would surely stop in again if we area back in the area.

My first time to a Mancy's restaurant. Nice selection of craft beers and an impressive wine list. I had the scallops with rice and asparagus. Very well prepared. Good service from our server David. Next time in the Toledo area I will have to try the original steak house restaurant.

I stopped in here because it was close to my hotel. It was a pleasant surprise. The decor is nice and it is a lively vibe without being obnoxious. I was alone and ate at the bar. The bartenders were extremely pleasant and attentive. I ordered two beers and the grilled salmon with ravioli. It was well prepared and flavorful.... More

We were so looking forward to dining here upon many recommendations from others. The restaurant is nice, great ambience. The food was average at best. Very very bland and not memorable. For what we were paying I expected so much more. Dinner for 2 was over $100 before tip. We had 1 appetizer, 1 beer each and 2 entrees. Very... More

Best dinner out in awhile, much better than expected. Our group had oysters, Ahi Tuna, Surf & Turf, Salmon, Bisque, bouillabaisse, all excellent! Ashley H. was an exceptional server, pleasant, knowledgeable, took great care of us, but not too much. Next time in Toledo we will definitely visit again!
