We will be back

I brought my girlfriend to Toledo to meet my parents for the first time this weekend. We used to go to Mancy's Bluewater when I lived in Toledo and I loved it, so I thought it would be a good place for them to get to know eachother. It was just as good as I remembered. The food was awesome,... read more

We decided to have dinner at Mancy's because it was locally owned. Toledo is not known for fine dinning and we were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. The food was good, with an extensive menu, and the wine list was fairly broad. What really stood out was the great service. We would definitely come back if we are in the... More

I have been to a lot of seafood places. I would expect more than usual from it. Shrimp cocktail was good. Main meal I felt like there was soft shell parts in my meal. Definitely not very kid friendly. Dessert was just ok.

We have been eating here since it opened, having enthusiastically supported Mancy's Steakhouse. The ambience is excellent. The location is convenient to all of southern Lucas County and Northern Wood County: an easy 10-minutes' drive from Perrysburg. We have probably dined here 25-30 times. However, the last few times we have left feeling like the price has out-stripped the product... More

I was notified via email that Mancy's Blue Water Grille was doing something special for St. Patty's Day to include (for $30): shrimp boil, reuben egg rolls, jigs dinner, 4 beer tickets. It sounded fun and reasonable so I signed on. What was NOT mentioned was that this affair was to be held outdoors (45 degrees and falling), the only... More

I had heard from several people that this was a great seafood restaurant. I was very disappointed, especially for the price. Maybe my standards are high after living in Seattle, Los Angeles, and New York, but I don't think Nancy's is up to par with good restaurants anywhere. First, the food. I ordered the seared ahi tuna and my companion... More

Freezing cold inside (the outlets at the table had air FLOW coming inside), high of 8 degrees today. Slow service. Sub-par and not hot food. I've had better fresher seafood from bars for a cheaper price. The atmosphere could be nice if you weren't shivering. Not that it matters, but even the napkins were all tattered and worn.

We just happened on this restaurant as we were driving by and stopped in for lunch, which turned out to be delightful. The service was excellent and so was the food. Also just a lovely physical space--we were most happy that we found this restaurant, and would surely stop in again if we area back in the area.

My first time to a Mancy's restaurant. Nice selection of craft beers and an impressive wine list. I had the scallops with rice and asparagus. Very well prepared. Good service from our server David. Next time in the Toledo area I will have to try the original steak house restaurant.
