Located in the scenic Hocking Hills just off the SR 664 exit of U.S. 33, we offer Amish-inspired meals, daily buffet and desserts, all reasonably priced in a comfortable, friendly atmosphere. We offer banquet rooms (for up to 300) for special events, such as wedding receptions. There's also take-out and catering services. We host a weekly historical society flea market outside (May through October). A new feature is "Music at the Dutch" in which we provide live music from a variety of genres. Our gift shop has a wide range of merchandise and there's a petting zoo just outside. You'll find us in Rempel's Grove by Baymont Inn & Suites, Hocking Hills Canoe Livery, 18-hole miniature golf, antique mall, glass factory outlet, bulk food and deli store and ice cream shop. Walmart and other shops are across the road; from the welcome center we're just 0.5 miles away. We have parking for buses and RVs.

Good food

Like the homemade mashed potatoes, noodles and the roasted turkey. The buffet has a lot of fried food on it. The salad bar has a nice mix of greens.

I'm not a huge fan of fried chicken because really? It's just greasy and after all it's just chicken.... But the "broasted" chicken here falls off the bone! The crust is crunchy without being greasy....really delicious! Mashed potatoes were REAL and fabulous! Hubby said roast beef was great. Tried 3 different pies... Oh my! Excellent!

We had stopped at this little mall to check out the antique mall and then play a round of golf. Afterwards we figured since it was right there that's where we'd eat. It didn't disappoint. The menu had quite a few choices that I would of had a hard time picking one. But we decided to go with the Buffet.... More

This is a great restaurant for old fashioned comfort food like chicken and mashed potatoes with gravy. The staff is very friendly and it is a laid back kind of place. Very comfortable and family friendly in my opinion. It is not the best food I have ever had....but is yummy enough to make me go back on future visits.... More

Not sure if this was a true Amish restaurant (it was open on Sunday and the ones around here are not), but we decided to eat here after our Hocking Hills camping trip. The broasted chicken was good, but I didn't think the sides were all that flavorful (bland green bean casserole and mashed potatoes - nothing stood out or... More

Hello Lora M, It is wonderful to hear that you have so many positive sentiments to say about our establishment! We do apologize that the sides you had sampled were not quite up to par with the remainder of the dishes but we are happy that you had enjoyed the roasted chicken and desserts. We are also thrilled that you... More

My family and I loved this place. It's been great both times we have visited. The food is always full on the buffet, there is a great variety, and it all tastes DELICIOUS! The noodles were my favorite! This will always be a stop when we visit the Hocking Hills Area.

Great chicken, noodles, and the catfish is worth the trip. Catfish is the best I've had in years. People working were all so wonderful. Thanks so much.

I am not a fan of the olde dutch, I like homemade foods not instant potatoes and corn and green beans straight from the can. They do have good chicken, but other than that the food isn't the greatest especially for the price. It is always clean though. The staff is usually under staffed and you have to wait for... More

Hello stacymichelle08, We are very sorry to hear that you are not a fan of our establishment. However, we can assure you that the mashed potatoes we serve are homemade, not instant. In regards to the vegetables, we do use the freshest we can acquire but on occasion we do need to supplement our ingredients with frozen corn and canned... More

Great dutch food! Was pressed to get dessert a little too much but food was delicious, pies seemed store bought and not fresh like expecting, still good but not the same. Fed two of us without breaking my wallet!
