Nicer than it looks.

We wanted a quick stop off the interstate and once again Trip Advisor came to the rescue. Looking more like a gas station, the Country Kitchen turned out to be a friendly, comfortable place for a quick home style meal. Many options on the menu, including chicken and dumplings. Almost my grandmother's recipe, just needed sliced potatoes. Good ham and... More

This is one of the best breakfast restaurants, if you come in hungry I bet you don't leave that way. They also have great lunch and dinners, if you love liver and onions go can't go wrong with this meal.. And if you have room after eating the deserts are among the best around... Try It You'll Love It...

Country cooking, good tasting food and very good coffee. Service was very good, friendly and accurate even when very busy. I chose the 1/4 lb burger on rye with grilled chopped onion and cheese served with slaw and crinkle cut fries.

My husband and I stopped in here for dinner on 4-15-15. They have a really awesome spaghetti and meatball special for $7.59. It comes with a nice salad and garlic toast. Spaghetti sauce is very good. My husband loved it!! I ordered the hamburger steak with grilled mushrooms, green beans and cole slaw for $10.59. Actual hamburger steak with 2... More

It ain't much to look at but its the best place to eat breakfast especially if you are a Republican. The mayor of Waynesville Rd Odell Craft will even pour your coffee for you when the waitresses get busy. Ask for Pam who has a degree in hotel motel management.

I live in Lebanon, and eat here all the time. My favorite is for the Friday night all you can eat catfish special! It is genuine home cooking, local owned, and makes you feel like you are part of the regulars that dine there. All of the food is great! Just the hometown kind of restaurant I prefer. I will... We stopped in here to get off the interstate for a while. Very friendly staff, no frills decor. The breakfast was delicious with large portions. The biscuits really were made from scratch & fresh, and the real surprise was the homemade jams and jellies that they served. It will be worth another stop just to get some more Strawberry Jam!

This place is very warm and friendly. They are a wonderful throw back to the roadside diners of the 1950's! They have awesome double decker hamburgers with their own special sauce! They have all you can eat fish fry's on Friday nights. Worth checking them out!

My wife and I ate here for breakfast on a Sunday. It was great. Diner like, omelettes, biscuits and gravy, sausage, what else could one ask for. Lots of local. Most were fat and old, lol. But hey, it says something when there are a bunch of old farmer folks hanging out. The food is good, and service was reasonable.... More

So, I've driven by this place countless times, and though, "Wow, that place looks interesting--I wonder if it's good?" In November, I moved about a mile from it, and one hung-over Sunday, my boyfriend and I sidled in for some brunch. I goofed around and ordered a patty-melt, which was very good by the way, but my fiance did the... More
