After our annual Christmas ride on the LM&M train, my 8 year old niece and 4 year old nephew and I went to The Village Ice Cream Parlor for dinner. I had the chili ang grilled cheese, niece had the chicken tenders and fries, nephew had a hotdog and fries! Both kids had ice cream afterwards and thoroughly enjoyed themselves!... More

I had lunch there yesterday with an old friend. We both had their famous hamburgers. Toasted buns and all the trimmings. The service is great and friendly. A great buy for the food and service.

The ice cream here is so good and the place is really good for such a small town and I think they taste such good ice cream.

My daughter, her husband and his father had lunch here. Good service and cute atmosphere. The guys both had the double club sandwich. We both had a ham and pimento cheese sandwich. Yummy. The onion rings which you can upgrade over chips were very good. It is also possible to add cherry or vanilla to your drink. We will definitely... More

We were visiting Dayton and took a side trip to Lebanon, and found this quaint restaurant while walking down their Main Street. Lots of people inside so it must be good and it was! I felt like being in the movie, "It's a Wonderful Life" and found out a couple of scenes from "Harper Valley PTA" were filmed in the... More

It's a must to go to the Village Ice Cream Parlour. The menu is varied, the food is delicious, the feeling of history is here, the service is great, the price is right. If you want to experience some of historic Lebanon, but can't afford the Golden Lamb, then this is the can't miss place.

Nasty staff, poor service and the ice cream is over-rated. Most of their meals are of the frozen, microwavable variety and served with a sour puss from the staff. Go down the street to Whit's for ice cream and friendliness. This place got its recognition from several movies filmed there; but otherwise it's nothing but a tourist trap. Go somewhere... More

We rode the train today and followed it up with a lunch at the Village Ice Cream Parlor . Now we are locals so we have eaten here before but it just seemed right to eat at this lovely old fashioned place after riding the historic train . The food is always good . Nothing fancy but good . Great... More

This place is a like an old time ice cream parlor. It also has a variety of food items, not just ice cream. It is very, very good.
