My boys love this ice cream especially play-doh. My favorite is sugar free butter pecan. I love it there. Now they have fresh doughnuts.

We go here a few times every summer. They have good ice cream, a wide variety of flavors, and a fun, casual atmosphere. The Eskimo Kisses is great! They are open nearly year-round, so it doesn't have to be hot outside to enjoy their ice cream.

There aren't many choices for ice cream in Lancaster but we were hoping that Gypsy Joe's was going to be the perfect place to find some great ice cream in this southeast suburb of Columbus. We've been spoiled by Graeter's and Jeni's (both found in Columbus) and, unfortunately, Gypsy Joe's wasn't even close. There was initial hope when we studied... More

We've gone there several times. It wasn't very tidy. The staff seemed overwhelmed when our family came in. The children were well behaved but yes there were 11 of us. Prices were a bit high.

This little ice cream store opened in 2002. It has been consistently excellent for all of that time. The decor is cute with bright paintings of monkeys and trees that kids always adore. The Ice cream is tope quality with portions being huge. There are many flavors to choose from, some of my favorites are Cupcake, Cinnamon, Banana cream pie... More

We visit Gypsy Joe's often and they always have courteous service, yummy ice cream, and great value. The sugar free butter pecan is my favorite, but my kids always try new flavors to mix together.

I got the lowfat butter pecan and it was delicious! Everything else looked yummy, too!

We live in Lancaster so we have the luxury of "seeing live monkeys", er, I mean eating great ice cream at Gypsy Joe's frequently. With flavors like Milky Way and Eskimo Kisses, we haven't had a bad flavor or experience. I would strongly recommend stopping if you are in or around Lancaster. You won't be disappointed!

This was our first trip to Gypsy Joe's and it certainly won't be our last. They have lots of different flavors to choose from. It was the perfect stop after a day of hiking in Hocking Hills. And my daughter loved the kid's section, complete with a pint size picnic table. Best of all, the scoops were huge and affordable.
