Description: Pier W, a landmark Cleveland restaurant, has been serving a critically acclaimed seafood and contemporary menu since May 11, 1965. Having recently undergone a $3 million interior renovation, the new Pier W resembles a sophisticated luxury liner cantilevered over Lake Erie offering dramatic views of both the Lake and the downtown Cleveland skyline. We would like to request that shorts, flip flops and baseball caps are not worn to the restaurant.

My only visit to this restaurant was for Happy Hour. I wish it. Had. Been a bit less windy that day and I would have been out on the patio, enjoying the view of Lake Erie. The liquor selection and happy hour prices were great. The half price appetizer menu makes very reasonably priced meal available with. Really good selection... More

Had dinner there last night with friends and the food was just OK - restaurant enjoys an excellent reputation for quality and it certainly wasn't present last night!! The Great Lakes Walleye was served uncooked in the middle, the salmon was nothing special and the other walleye dish was Mediocre at best. The server was quite accommodating and pleasant and,... I have been to Pier W a few times. We really liked brunch. The food was good and there was a wide variety of items to choose from at the buffet tables. The view of the lake is beautiful. Happy Hour has changed. It used to be a normal Happy Hour where you could sit at a table to have... More

This is a very lovely restaurant. We had hoped to have cocktails on the roof top bar, but it was a little windy & cool so we opted to have our drinks inside. The roof top bar has such huge potential that I don't think has been utilized - the furniture was sparse and not that pretty. Upgrading this area... More

Recently visited Pier W for a delicious Sunday brunch. If you're a seafood lover, this brunch is for you...shrimp, salmon, bouillabaisse, mussels, sushi, calamari and more. Also a nice assortment of breads, salads and breakfast foods (waffles, eggs, bacon). The food was delicious, and the kids loved the dessert table - complete with chocolate fountain and fixins (marshmallows, strawberries, etc.)... More

Being vegetarian, we had not sought out the seafood-heavy Pier W over the years, but curiosity, its beautiful setting on Lake Erie, and a special occasion took us there for a celebratory dinner, and we left with high satisfaction and great contentment. A window table--you have to get there early!--offered a stunning view of the lake, sailboats, and the Cleveland... More

My fiancé and I were traveling on route 20 and spotted a billboard for this place and decided to check it out. Its located between a pair of condominium towers and sits on the edge of a cliff overlooking lake erie. You enter the resteraunt through a revolving glass door then take the stairs or elevator down a floor. We... More

Had reservations for six for Sunday brunch. Upon our arrival , We were welcomed warmly by the hostess, and seated immediately at an excellent window table with great view of the lake and Cleveland skyline. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. The brunch selection was unreal, be easier to list what wasn't available, and every selection great. Pier-W was a... More

Pier W in Lakewood, OH is definitely a GEM on all fronts. The views of the city and beyond are incredible along with the unique design of this one of a kind restaurant. Build into the cliffs overlooking Lake Erie with a rooftop patio, Pier W stands out with great food, service and location. My only complaint is that we... More

We enjoyed Sunday brunch with our son and daughter-in-law. Everything exceeded our expectations. Will be sure to return. Especially enjoyed the freshness of the food that was prepared and how it was offered in and attractive manner.
