Description: Pier W, a landmark Cleveland restaurant, has been serving a critically acclaimed seafood and contemporary menu since May 11, 1965. Having recently undergone a $3 million interior renovation, the new Pier W resembles a sophisticated luxury liner cantilevered over Lake Erie offering dramatic views of both the Lake and the downtown Cleveland skyline. We would like to request that shorts, flip flops and baseball caps are not worn to the restaurant.

Upon celebrating our Anniversary, I wanted a romantic restaurant with a view. Boy, does Pier W offer this! The Restaurant was built overhanging a cliff on Lake Erie. It gives panoramic views of The lake as well as Cleveland. This truly is worth traveling for, even if you are downtown for an event. If you have time to make the... More

Whenever I'm back in Cleveland, enjoying fresh walleye is always at the top of my list. Our family was very well taken care of, and the food was superb! Their menu is full of great seafood, and their staff worked well with us when my father was initially dissatisfied with his meal. Pier W is a bit expensive, and parking... More

This place is off the chain! Beautiful setting and view. We went for Happy Hour which is fabulous, fabulous, fabulous. Happy hour is from 4-7 and seating is limited, so go early. The view is still good, not as close to the windows as in the dining room, but the value is worth a bit of sacrifice. Happy hour has... More

It was our first visit to Ohio and someone recommended the Pier W happy hour as a way to pass our Friday afternoon. Great choice! Tasty, delicious appetizers and well-mixed cocktails at half price. What a treat! The food and drinks were amazing!

As a native New Englander, seafood is a touchy subject for me when I travel. I can honestly say that the swordfish, tuna, and oysters I had at Pier W were excellent quality. They were imported from the coast, but prepared excellently and surprisingly fresh for the distance the fish had to travel.

We started our visits to Pier W for their Sunday brunch close to 30 years ago when we first moved to the Cleveland area. Since then we have been there yearly for birthdays, graduations and other special occasions. The atmosphere was always welcoming and fun, and with the new décor after the recent remodel, though more sleek and modern, it... More

One of the worst restaurants I have every visited! I have had two bad experiences here. One was for a Sunday buffet that was way over priced. It was very crowded and the tables are very close together. The server was friendly. However we where offered omelets that we were not told that they are à la carte. We also... More

We went with friends to celebrate two birthdays and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The view of the Cleveland skyline is the best you will find. We all agreed that the Oysters Rockefeller were superb and the beet salad very different and delicious. Our entrees- crab stuffed shrimp, bouilliabaisse, short ribs, and trout - were all wonderful. We ordered dessert, but... More

My only visit to this restaurant was for Happy Hour. I wish it. Had. Been a bit less windy that day and I would have been out on the patio, enjoying the view of Lake Erie. The liquor selection and happy hour prices were great. The half price appetizer menu makes very reasonably priced meal available with. Really good selection... More

Had dinner there last night with friends and the food was just OK - restaurant enjoys an excellent reputation for quality and it certainly wasn't present last night!! The Great Lakes Walleye was served uncooked in the middle, the salmon was nothing special and the other walleye dish was Mediocre at best. The server was quite accommodating and pleasant and,...
