Excellent

We went to Barroco and had some great arepas. The staff was helpful and attentive and the food was delicious. The price was reasonable and they brought out about 5 different salsas to try. We will definitely be back.

The food was very fresh, different than Mexican food. More like Cuban fare. We ate on the outdoor patio in the back, which was a nice option for a cool summer evening. Service was excellent. Try all four sauces they give you with your meal--each one is unique.

We love this place. The arepas are so good and the service is great. We also have tried the huevos rancheros and were pleased.

Tried this placed based on a suggestion from my mother-in-law; and the food was so delicious. We had heard it can get quite busy so we made a reservation a week ahead of time. Good news and bad news when we got there; bad news was they had no record of our reservation, good news was we got there early... More

This restaurant opened several years ago and I understand the hype. Our meals were delicious , the guacamole is fresh and it's BYOB. You can bring your own drinks, they just charge $5. It's still worth it considering what you would pay otherwise. The food is very reasonably priced. Atmosphere is fun with graffiti on the walls and an intimate... More

We took the family here to celebrate end of school and had a great time. While easy to classify the food as Mexican, It was clearly not and had lots of Colombian influence that is harder to find. Appetizers of empanadas and guacamole served with fresh made plantain chips were both awesome. They serve many varieties of are arepas that... More

Since I have been staying in Lakewood at least 2 times a month, I hadn't ventured out very much for the lunch or dinner scene. Usually on every stay, I would visit Cosumel and Quaker Steak only. Since I deeply miss my time in South America, especially Ecuador and Peru and a little time in Columbia, I decided to give... More

Great food. They are also able to accommodate particular dietary needs. Lots of gluten-free choices. Everything is made fresh and everything is made to order. We were there for lunch so it was not packed and we did not have a wait. The service was exceptional--friendly, helpful. Everyone seemed genuinely excited that we loved the food. It is so much... Delicious and different South American food served by a friendly staff. We enjoyed several great appetizers, wonderful Areapas with multiple sauces brought to the table and BYOB. Fun change from Burgers, and our server told us a patio is opening this summer!
