The cheese fried grits were amazing! I had never had it before! I also had the sausage gravy and hash browns which were very good too! The others with me had a variety of omelets which they declared delicious!

I live about 45 min from this place. It is well worth the drive. They have such a variety of choices for breakfast. They make there own jalapeño sausage it is so spicy and goes great with the two eggs over easy and the pan fried cheesy grits . My friend had an avocado omelet and home fries she was... More

Never had a bad meal. Service has always been great. There are busy times, as with any café. Their weekly specials are awesome, especially Wednesdays.

I can't believe that I haven't reviewed Wild Goats before now. I've been eating breakfast there every time I go to Kent for the last four years. It is a family tradition to eat breakfast there on our last morning in town before leaving our daughter for the long drive home. I personally like the Scrambler (everything in one big... More

Nice little spot, local business which is a plus. I've only been there for breakfast, and it's always better to go early before the hangovers join you and there's a line. Normal breakfast stuff, but still a fav when i visit kent.

I want to like this place, but I can't. The waits are way too long for the type of food made. The dinner, heavily advertised, was really gross. Kids pasta waaayyy overspiced, so ordered her some bacon, wayyyy overcooked. My food was ok and slopped onto the plate in a very unappetizing manner. The breakfasts, I've been hear many many... More

We went for breakfast with our son who goes to Kent State. It was a Sunday morning, so there was a wait. We were told 25 minutes but the wait was closer to 30-35. Ordered our food and realized that we were not going to have time to eat there because our son had to be at was show. Our... More

My wife and I were visiting my alma mater and found this restaurant. I believe it was an ice cream parlor when I attended KSU. Both of us enjoyed our meals. The home made whole grain toast was fantastic (no need to order biscuits with your breakfast), and the coffee was the best I found on my week long road... More

I love the Wild Goats Cafe and eat there on a regular basis. It can get pretty busy during the lunch hour, but if you can flex your lunch hour, you won't be disappointed. The Goat sandwich is my favorite for lunch and their banana peanut butter pancakes are to die for if you make it for breakfast;-)

Was visiting Kent State and stopped into Wild Goats Cafe for breakfast. Popular place - it was full the entire time I was there. Food was good. Service was a little slow, but it was extremely busy. Wait staff was very friendly. Looks like a nice place to go for a relaxing meal. Wish it had been open when I... More
