We've been eating at Henry Wahner's since the 1980's when Henry stilled owned the place. We've always enjoyed the food and go there for special occasions. They are well known for their meat entrees. My wife loves the sauer braten and I always get the Hungarian goulash & spaetzle. People sitting around us often have a steak hanging off both... More

Thank goodness we didn't order appetizers! The salads were tiny and the dressing was bottled not made in house as we were told. The rolls were the cheapest you can buy at any market and not warmed. The prime rib was $30 of tough, raw unseasoned meat. My schnitzel was just ok and the gravy on it was too salty... More

I have always heard that this place had great German food and excellent Prime Rib. My wife was looking forward to Viener Schnitzel... They don't serve it..so she asked for the pork version with an egg on top..the cook wouldn't do it, even though that's the authentic version of the dish. So she ordered a steak..it was burned..no flavor.I got... More

It was an excellent meal though slightly expensive and they do not except credit so bring cash. The ambiance was very good quite German and the service is excellent. If you don't mind spending a little extra you will like this restaurant.

Went with a group of 8 who typically come here. We both ordered filet mignon (I the small, my boyfriend, the large). It was a little expensive but not outrageous considering this is the best cut of meat. I liked that my steak tasted like steak & not the stove nor charred nor smokey. Ours were both cooked to order... More

If you would like to feed a family of 4 order the prime rib. The dinners are large in size and very tasty.

Couldn't even tell you how the food was considering the fact that we waited for over 1/2 hour after we received our drinks and never got a waitress to take our order. Very dis-satisfied with the total experience considering that this was the first time we ever patronized this establishment. Will not return.

TWENTY YRS AGO, i FREQUENTLY ATE AT HENRY WAHNERS AND IT WAS TERRIFIC IN THOSE DAYS. A friend who ate there recently reminded me of the fact that they were still in business so four of us went there last night. Observing that there were no credit card stickers on the windows, I inquired as to what cards they accept... More
