Great food

The atmosphere lends itself to an old fishermen's pub. The perch is great their specialty drinks aren't too shabby either! Great and friendly staff top off this down to earth pub.

Our innkeeper suggested this restaurant had the most consistently good food on the island. We agree. Good drinks. Best perch we found. Tip: locals sit around the bar.

We flew into the Island today (Oct 13) and walked in from the airport. After sightseeing , we went by the recommendation of the locals to try it. We were not disappointed! The friendly atmosphere and great food just made our day that more special. When we got ready to leave they even drove us back to the Airport. (... More

The Village Pump has gotten a reputation for good fish and a good Brandy Alexander. I did not have the perch, so maybe it is good, but what we had was average at best, and the atmosphere was really lousy. Admittedly, it was a Saturday night. Still, it's not fun being surrounded by drunk people and unable to have a... More

Stopped in on the recommendation of B&B owner. We were not disappointed. The lake perch was fabulous and we finished with their "Famous" Brandy Alexander......a desert in itself!!!

There was a game on Saturday so the place was packed; besides it, it was also Lobster Fest event on that day. While waiting for a table, my husband and I seated at the bar. I had a couple of Brandy Alexander. Very light; good though. We paid $29.95 per person for the lobster dinner. Potato salad was okay, very... More

The Pump was recommended by our B&B owner as a place to get the local fish. Both my husband and I ordered a fish dinner. The fish and sweet potato fries were delicious however, I would skip the coleslaw. Too much dressing, not enough veggies. The dinner was a bit pricy but we had "picnicked" all day so felt we... While visiting my mom and dad who live up on Lake Erie, we boated over to Kelly's Island for dinner at The Pump. WOW! Such a unique spot...the best perch I've ever eaten. My husband is English and he LOVED the place. It's just so very American. I suggest ordering a big plate of perch, a plate of fried green... More

This is a must for anyone going to Kelley's island...not only does it have a great island feel about it, you will not be disappointed with your meal. The perch is fantastic and make sure you save room for dessert which is their famous Brandy Alexander!!
