Description: Located conveniently off of the I-77 Rockside Road exit in Independence...
Located conveniently off of the I-77 Rockside Road exit in Independence Ohio, only 15 minutes from downtown Cleveland, Shula's 2 is the premier restaurant for all types of dining in Northeast Ohio. Shula's 2 is a transition from a sports bar to casual dining with a more upscale menu. With Shula's 2 we offer Certified Angus Beef® SHULA CUT® Filet Mignon, New York Strip, and Ribeye (The "Cowboy") steaks from our Steak Houses in smaller portions, newly introduced Certified Angus Beef® cuts, such as the spice rubbed strip steak, and the Certified Angus Beef® SHULA BURGER® brand as a standard for all burgers. Newer, more popular salads and fresh seafood address all taste buds, such as our popular Seared Ahi Tuna Salad. Appetizers and sides are simple, yet complimentary to the menu items and served in large portion. Sweet potato fries, onion rings, enormous jumbo baked potatoes and the fresh asparagus are some of our most popular sides. Restaurant look and design strategy consists of some memorabilia and pictures celebrating local sports heroes and celebrities, including a 72 Miami Dolphin jersey and helmet. Also central to atmosphere are high-end flat panel screened TVs, dark woods and frames with spotlights, and pigskin walls. Granite topped tables and offer a different appeal and destination for residents of Independence, Brecksville, Valley View, Seven Hills, Parma, Old Brooklyn and Cleveland Ohio. The bar becomes a place of socializing with wine and martinis for both business type groups or individuals looking for a warm atmosphere or a place to be seen. For private dining, there is great variety and flexibility with the menu items.

Average Steakhouse

The second time I have eaten here during a business meeting at the Doubletree and it was just average and pricey. The meatloaf was supposed to be really good but was bland.

This was a local favorite for us, which we frequented four or five times a year. We particularly liked the "Miami Strip," priced in the mid-$20 range. Thick, flavorful, and a real treat done medium rare. Not one of the Shula featured cuts, which run in the $30 to $40 range, but nevertheless not much drop off from these pricer... More

The food was ok. I had a burger, and it was nothing special. It was a good place to go and and have a conversation.

Had a wonderful dinner and great service. I will definitely go back when in Miami on my next visit. I had the salmon and it was delicious. My daughter had steak and loved it.

Food will always be pricier when the Restaurant is located within the hotel. We really enjoyed the food and atmosphere.

Everything was okay. Nothing outstanding or out of the ordinary. It was horrible but it wasnt exciting either. The bar area looked nice.

Don't EVER go here for a brunch. EVER! Two "carving stations" with one carver .... the line was 20 mins to get a piece of nasty dried meat. One waffle machine for hundreds of people. Those poor people waited 40 mins for fresh waffles. The food was so sub par. The salad bar was empty, there were never any rolls.... More

My wife and I visited this restaurant while in Cleveland. We saw the deal on Groupon and decided to give it a shot. The wait was about and hour but after 10 minutes we found seats at the bar. The food was ok at best, the service was a little slow, there was a convention going on so we had... More

Was pretty psyched to see a Shula's in my hotel. Whoops. One bartender trying to handle the entire bar area - bartend, wait tables, run food, etc. Caesar salad was served in a fresh out of dishwasher, steaming hot bowl. Dry lettuce with a mound of parm cheese. Ate 2 bites and sent it back - still got charged :)... More

Hi Daniel, Thanks for your review. I apologize for the experience you received while dining in and staying at the hotel. We are actually a high-end sports bar, but often get confused with our sister Steakhouse concepts. Had you alerted the bartender or manager of your issues with the salad and burger, we would not have hesitated to correct the... More
