We used to frequent Downtown 140 years back, but changes in management and ownership led to some questionable years and we hadn't gone there for a while. We were looking for somewhere close to go for a nice meal for our 20th anniversary and decided to re-visit Downtown 140. We are so glad we did!! The new ownership and managment... More

Wonderful food and wine. Unfortunately you are underground. There is no reason when you are in Hudson Ohio you should eat underground. If you are at all claustrophobic, avoid this place.

Wonderful atmosphere, great service and exceptional drinks and food make Downtown 140 a great choice for a night out! The prices are a bit above what we will usually spend for a night out, Downtown 140 is worth it. My husband and I prefer to have a few cocktails and share a bunch of small plates to get a taste... The place is elegant, service is prompt and attentive but never invasive. Both appetizer and entree fish were fresh and nicely presented. Tuna was properly cooked (rare) but with too little seasoning and too much "sauce" around. Dessert was pretty good. Definitely worth a second visit.

My wife and I were visiting the charming town of Hudson, Ohio and needed to find a place for a late lunch. We made a great choice. Even though we were the only ones in the restaurant, arriving after 1 pm, it was warm and inviting. Tom our waiter was very knowledgeable and very helpful. We will return to 140... More

My wife has written reviews before but I decided that after tonight's dinner I had to write a review also. Tonight we were celebrating my daughter's 33rd birthday. My son, daughter in law and granddaughter were here from New York. We had our granddaughter for two weeks so our son came into town to pick her up. Our daughter Jenny... More

This is one of those places you have to try. The food is fantastic, the staff is well trained and friendly, and the wine list is great. And if I forgot to mention, the food is fantastic. Really, truly good.

Downtown 140 is the finest restaurant in the Hudson area. We love their daily specials along with their regular menu. Tonight their specials are French ONION Soup with crustini and Gruyere, Shrimp Arrabbiata, grilled, tomato sauce, with Fettuccini, Sea Scallops seared with lobster Couscous and Asparagus. Amazing food and beautiful place to be.

Girls Night Out turned into a wet mess. Waitress spilled an entire glass of water in my lap. For my inconvenience, all I received was a "sorry" from the waitress. No visit from the manager and nothin offered to me for my inconvenience. I had to sit their with a soaked lap and be expected to pay for my entire... More
