Really yummy food, and a great spot on the balcony overlooking the wharf. Large meals which kept everyone happy. Well worth a visit.

My wife and I stayed two nights in Wynyard, so on the first night we went to the Wharf for dinner. I had a T-Bone with chips and salad, the serving size was excellent and the steak cooked to perfection. My wife had the vegetable frittata with salad which she was also very impressed with. The prices were also very... More

Called in for dinner the other night and whilst the food was quite large in serving size it was quite average in quality. The scallops were over cooked as was my chicken parmigiana. They seemed to be understaffed as well. The hotel it self is quite pleasant and the beer is cold. I just felt that it offered nothing to... More

At the moment it would have to rank as my favourite Pub in the North West Tas. It has really good menu choices, huge serves and well priced. Very efficient staff and service taking the orders and food is tasty as well. The window seats give a lovely window frontage onto the Inglis River and sets off a nice ambience.... More

Okay so we're in a fishing village and my hubby was hanging out for fish and chips. The fish WAS very fresh, but the batter a little tired. I ordered frittata with vegetables (main course size) and was disappointed with the quality of the frittata. The menu also said it was served with root vegetables and I was picturing carrots,... We were celebrating our grand daughter's birthday. Their meals were ok but three adult meals were not up to an acceptable standard. The chips were all substandard in that they were not cooked fresh, but tasted and looked old or precooked, the two scallop dishes were overcooked and spongy, with the crumbed outer over cooked as well, very small salads,... A little on the expensive side for a pub, but that's Tassie! The meals were very good, however, and it was busy with locals both nights we ate here.
