We had a lovely meal here. I had the bread and trio of dips to start and it was divine - simply one of the nicest versions of that dish I have ever had. I liked the separate menu section for comfort food - very cute for when the wind is blowing a gale. Nice atmosphere, good service.

We had our first evening meal at Lancaster House last Saturday night. I was concerned, as I had been there before during the day and found that althougth it was quite nice, the cafe' style wasn't what I would like for dinner. What a pleasant surprise. The Cunninghams have really lifted the game and are serving delightful (and genersous) evening... More

Went here with family who are regulars and who love the place. The sticky date muffins are incredible - best we've ever had. Coffee was great too.

I have been there 3 times now and it never fails to impress me. The presentation, combination of flavours and general taste of their food is fantastic. I note that it is under new management, so this time one of my favourite items was missing, however everything our table ordered was beautifully presented and tasty. Also good coffee. Would highly... Located at the end of Reiby Street in Ulverstone this coffee house boasts views across the river. Cosy and comfortable providing nice food and good coffee. Visited as part of a specially catered birthday party event for the evening- look forward to visiting in future for lunch. Also available are an impressive range of carnivorous plants!

Had eggs Benedict here twice within about 2 weeks and I've gotta say it was great each time. Consistent food and service and the coffee was great too

But don't try to pull-off Eggs Benedict on toast, just recommend something else to the customer! Seriously. It takes little to no effort to gain a loyal customer. First, be honest with who you are. Second, be accountable. And third, don't charge premium prices for a Eggs Benedict on toast with uncooked spinach.... The only thing that got you an... More

Have visited Lancaster house at least three times. In a large group and also just as a couple. Have not been disappointed. Friendly, efficient service, good food and coffee. Also a nice outlook over the river. Would recommend and will be back.

Have eaten at Lancaster House several times and can't fault the quality of the food, beverages or service. The menu provides a range of suitably priced options that can cater to the taste buds of both young and old alike. Have mainly eaten from the breakfast menu and can recommend the Lancaster breakfast which is both tasty and good value... More
