Well equipped and run tavern

We enjoyed the 2 for $25 pizza deal as well for lunch. The pizzas were wood fired and very good. We went back again for dinner and I agree the meals were a little pricey for pub food but the servings were big and they allowed our 14 year old a kids meal so they were more than fair in... read more

Over rated and probably charges a touch too much for the quality of the museum. Hoever, still a cheap and affordable attraction, but cheaply put together and much of the signage is falling apart. That being said, seeing the bark mill still operating and learning about the tanning process and bark collection was interesting and is unique to the area.

THE place for dinner in winter - most of the other places were closed. Classic pub meals - plenty of it and the surprise was how well all was cooked and the freshness of the seafood. A whole flounder was melt in your mouth and the seafood supreme was exactly that with hot and cold inclusions. Great pub and grub!

Great service, very friendly folks with a open fire. I ordered the surf and turf, meal was good but not great. My son ordered pizza which was really good and the best value as it was 2 pizzas for $25 on Tuesday's.

Stopped here for a hot pie to warm us up on an incredibly cold winters day heading back from holidays in Bicheno. Service was a bit slow and at first glance the place looked a bit pricey but we decided on a couple of Steak, Bacon and cheese pies and some other items. Wow!, we were extremely impressed by the... Cheeky husband & I had a most enjoyable dinner, sadly cut short by an acute case of man-flu. We were seated near a gorgeous fire, served by friendly staff, with generous serves of excellent food. His surf & turf was a juicy steak with excellent grilling & flavour and tasty seafood. My seafood platter was unfortunately more than I could... More

Delicious pies and sausage rolls. Very nice coffee, albeit very hot. The kids loved playing in the playground outside.

We ate dinner here. My husband had the pizza special (roughly 30cm diameter) and I had a chicken parmigana. Service was very prompt even though they were fully booked. Servings were large - good value. We both really enjoyed our dinner. The cozy open wood fire was lovely to eat by!

Ate here for dinner on the two for one pizza night. The pizzas were actually pretty good - and the beer was just fine. Came back to the bakery part for breakfast the next morning, but was disappointed. It was over priced and the coffee was very average.
