We were going to visit this restaurant as part of a trip to Swansea, tried ringing a few days before to make a booking and phone rang out, walked past when we were there and a sign on the door that would indicate its out of business.

Booked a table for 6 , entree (bread) came out after waiting 1hour. 2 1\2 hours later when we asked where our meal was , told that 1chef went home sick and there was a delay. Other diners were also wanting to leave at there no service, no explanation until we asked what was going on and didn't really care... More

Sevice Was Poor. One Chef Went Home And Noone Was Told As We Waited 2.5 Hours For Main. The Wait Staff Couldn't calculate The Bill.

I had the misfortune to dine here recently with six business partners. We had booked the private room and were duly shown to a table set for 12-14. Rather than being removed, the excess crockery, cutlery and glassware was allowed to remain though moved towards the other end of the table to that at which we had chosen to sit. There... More

Our consensus is avoid this restaurant. Even the coffee is void of substance. This restaurant was disappointing.

It s a little shop that serves decent food. We have ordered brocoli, linguini and steak. The sautéed brocoli was alittle tasteless BUT... The char-grilled steak was excellent! This was the first time I managed to finish a main dish by myself coz it was jus too delicious. Steak was juice enough and tender. Seafood linguini was equally as nice.... More

The lady serving was excellent and so helpful. We chose the seafood linguine which was cooked well but tasteless and had a mussel shell which was not open, which means it was off. Bit smelly too. The desert plate was a good size and interesting, tasty too. A very basic place with leather chairs which so used you sit on... More

We recently dined at the Banc Restaurant in Swansea Tasmania. The whole experiences was fantastic. I honestly believe great customer service is as important as the actual meal. The wait staff at the Banc made our experience wonderful. A bright smile and nothing was too much to ask. My wife has special dietary requirements and it was nothing for the... More

My husband and I ate at Banc on a Tuesday night and while we were there they knocked back twenty people as the place was full, so to get in you must book. And after eating there I know why, what a gem, the food was amazing , lovely fresh food, well presented and good sized portions. The service was... More
