Went here after doing "the Nut" for a quick lunch. The service was quite good and the prawn salad was enjoyable - would be better if they offered the prawns peeled (for a price) as most would be happy to pay

on holiday in Tasmania we went for a drive down to Stanley. Wet weather, stopped for lunch at this restaurant. I had the best crumbed scallops ever. Four of us in the party. Couldn't fault the seafood. so fresh and tasty.

The upstairs cafe serves screamingly fresh seafood. Nice cosy spot on a cold windy day. Would visit again when in Stanley.

Have eaten here twice now as we have had to come to Stanley for work. The first time we ate here the food was average but there was plenty of it however our meals were not cooked as ordered with batter instead of crumbs. Gave it another chance as the other nearby restaurants were booked out. My husband was happy... More

You want lobster, you get it. In this place, they call the lobster "crayfish" and it is much better than lobster. 3 sizes are available and if you have half of the meddium size you will get as much as a lobster from Maine,I will say more. It is perfectly cooked and a wonderfull experience overlooking the sea. But do not came... More

Had lunch here on a wet, rainy day. It is a great place to stop fir lunch. Plenty of parking across the road. Bought two serves of flathead and chips for under $20. Best value fish and chips I've had in a long time. Terrific service too. There is an upstairs as well.

Very friendly staff, great customer service. Beautiful crumbed fish, was really yummy! In a fabulous location right across from the most stunning beach.

We ate takeaway as our accommodation was not self-contained. The fish and chips seemed a bit overpriced, especially considering they boast that it's just come straight from their own boats! The food was good, but I wouldnt rave over it. The service was friendly. Packaging would be better suited for eating on the sea front - maybe wrapped in paper... More

We stopped in for local fish and chips to eat down by the water. The chips had been cooked in old oil and were exceptionally salty and soft. I asked for just a tiny bit of salt. The fish wasn't cooked in the centre. It was very expensive. We threw it the the seagulls. Was the most terrible meal we... More

We waited 1 hour and 45 minutes to get natural oysters (not much cooking involved here) and bread that was FROZEN in the middle. After 2hours and 15 minutes from ordering we finally got our main courses. Our scallops were cold and the trumpeter was like shoe leather. I was starting to wonder if we were on a reality television... More
