A friend and I stopped here for lunch recently. My friend was tired and wanted a milkshake to restore her energy before we had lunch. The waitress was very happy to bring this before taking our order. My friend chose the lobster curry, which was pleasant but not memorable and I had the salt and pepper squid, which was very... More

They have there own boats but the food was shocking and you will need to take out a mortgage to get their local crayfish. Nearby venues are much better and worthy of a visit.

Had lunch great for a stop over before starting on tours at Stanley. Yummy fish and chips! Fresh and they sell cray fish too. Cray fish is a place to stop and buy.

We had a beautiful Lobster platter for two. It was made "gluten free" as my partner is a coeliac. The seafood was so fresh - scallops, oysters, lobster. A must if you are in the Stanley area. We will be going back tomorrow night.

They catch the scallops in Bass Strait and bring them to Hursey''s where they are cooked fresh and in best crispy batter I've tasted ever. There were at least 15 scallops on the plate for $20, plus chips. For me Hursey's are now the benchmark.

Without exaggeration this was the best fish and chip we had in whole Australia. We have been hesitating choosing the fish but the lady in the shop definitely recommended the local gummy. She also said if we are not happy, she will pay back the price. It was fresh, white, flaky and tasteful, I still feel it in my mouth.... More

Fresh high quality crayfish fresh off the boat and freshly cooked. Succulent and nice, we got one to take away. Go during summer for a bigger range of crayfish sizes and lowere prices. Friendly helpful staff, beautiful view from restaurant/cafe upstairs.
