Gluten Free Mud Cake! Yes, Please!!! Date Scones, too!!!

It was amazing. I had it twice in one week, while on vacation in Stanley. I want to go back to Stanley, just to have it again. It was beautiful and delicious! My husband had the date scones, with jam & cream (several times), while we were in Stanley. These were so good, too! I didn't even think... read more

We had a light lunch of savoury scones with butter and rhubarb chutney which was delicious. I had honeydew tea and my partner had an iced coffee. The food and service were wonderful and the views across the water are lovely. Highly recommended.

I think this cafe is set up for people with a more discerning palate than we have. We found the food expensive, small in size , and limited in range. The staff were friendly and nice and the location provided a lovely view over Stanley.

Had an early lunch after skipping breakfast to spend the morning walking around Stanley, It was the different type items on the menu that got us through the door as opposed to the usual offerings from some of the other establishments in the area.We had mushrooms, veggie lasgane, and zucchini fritters. Reasonable sized portions, which represented decent value for money.... More

Very friendly owners and staff. Exceptional lunch. Lovely outlook in the quaintest of towns. Had the chowder which was very tasty and filling. Quite different from your creamy base chowder. The cakes muffins slices all looked so good we went back the next day for morning tea and not disappointed. Coffee good without being outstanding.

After you have walked the Nut and either rode up in the chair lift and enjoyed the great views or walked up to the top, this is the place you need to call into in the main street of town. Great Coffee & Food. The gallery is lovely to browse thru and find a nice piece of Tassie to take... More
