The cafe was the only place advertised in our itinerary, which my friends and I looked forward to their 'look out from 400m above sea level' and 'famous pancake for brekky' as 'local secret'. As Google map and our GPS did not recognise their address, we asked local people at the shop in St Mary and they were not very... More

Came upon this little spot by chance - we had disembarked from the Ferry that morning & took this road on our way to Swansea - thought that we would try it as we were more than ready for a coffee (this was good) & the crepes were just something else. Would have loved to stay on and try some... More

Loved this place, the food was delicious and a pleasant surprise. We loved the quirky fun signs. And the staff were lovely.

I was looking forward to taking the family here for breakfast (we hadn't had any as yet), I visited when I was young and totally loved it. Even tho the decor is tired, the food more then outways the look. After visiting the website and planning our trip from Bicheno to Launceston, we arrived with a family of six, full... More

Lots of filling choices from savoury to berries to chocolate, nestled at the top of Elephant Pass surrounded by dense Tassie bushland. A small oasis in the harsh environment, worth a stop over, good coffee!

The pancakes from sweet to savory are still the best. Service is good. Spoiled for choice. The only complaint, they don't have eftpos facilities at all CASH ONLY!

I paid $16.90 for a spinach, cheese and salami crepe that was only half filled and had defrosted frozen spinach used in it. For that price I would expect fresh ingredients. Staff looked miserable. Overall for $35 for two people it was thoroughly disappointing....there is definitely no love in these pancakes. Not Australias best pancakes, not even close. Really really... More

Tired but still got it! Arrived after a very steep but beautiful 8km drive off the main highway! The fire was welcoming & the pancakes were delicious! The place needs a face lift but it is worth finding!

I had been looking forward to our visit as this restaurant was recommended to us by friends. We made a huge mistake by detouring for lunch. I left upset after being treated so badly by a member of their staff. A young girl who when I asked to speak to the owners because I wanted to tell them how she... More
