My partner and I ate at Blue Shed during our visit to Tassie and we have only GREAT things to say about this restaurant!!! The restaurant offers a nice view, the food was delicious and the staff extremely friendly! We had the lobster, the tuna steak and a few entrees!!! EVERYTHING was FABULOUS!! The beetroot cured salmon was one of the best entrées I have ever had and the cod special main was sensational. My hubby throughly enjoyed his meal. A lovely night with beautiful food, wine and view.

Our anniversary meal was excellent. We had a great table overlooking the bay, right on the water. The two waitresses were very nice and took the time to ask after our trip. The menu was predominantly seafood and was excellent. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

The location of this restaurant is unbeatable - right on St Helens' foreshore. We hadn't dined here for quite some time and yet the proprietor still remembered us. The menu is largely seafood with the only two meals not seafood, one being a chicken and a steak dish. This restaurant appeared very unstaff compared to the large number of customers... More

An unexpected surprise was coming across the BlueShed in St Helens. Food was exceptional, the staff were very friendly and professional and the ambience was great. 10-out-of-10 for an exceptional overall dining experience. We also ordered an incorrect wine and the manager gladly replaced it with another. Very impressed Adelaide visitors who will ensure to dine again..

We have eaten here a number of times over recent years, and on each occasion the food has been wonderful. We have never been disappointed. The setting is sublime - you are almost in the water, and the food is innovative, and a great example of modern Australian cuisine. The fish is always as fresh as it is possible to... More

We visited Blue Shed because of the good review from tripadvisor hoping we could have some light meal. The waitress was friendly and welcoming even though we just walked in without a reservation and explained they ONLY SERVE 2COURSE DINNER. We were not hungry but we decided to eat here. I think it was rather busy night considering they made... More

Best example of Tassie seafood with added sophistication. Best exclusive Tasmanian wine list which we found refreshing and the best views of a sublime bay. Friendly helpful staff. Seagulls flying up the glass and watching black swans an added extra.

Arrived just before 8pm on a Friday night and they were happy to accommodate our party of 4 (2 couples). You never know in small towns... We were offered the 2-course set menu (appetizer and main) and everyone had something different and it was all excellent. We all also decided to go for dessert and we weren't disappointed. The waitresses... More
