Good food, good service...a nice package with the ghost tour

Before the ghost tour commenced, I thought it's best to fill up my tummy as it's gonna be a long scary night Hahaha! And I was so glad to find that they had a package for the tour with dinner at Felons Bistro. The bistro was very nice. It's not exactly a stand alone restaurant by itself. It's... read more

There is few options for food while you are at Port Arthur so unless you have brought your own, be ready to spend up! As a vegan there was nothing really to order except for A small bowl of cold flavourless limp vegetables $6.50. When I say small, think of a child size bowl. It's 2015 for heavens sake!!! Surely... Only a few days ago did my partner and I have the pleasure of experiencing a dinner at Felons. We had planned a ghost tour at 8pm and decided to eat at the restaurant, so we booked ahead. We were greeted by Brett who was so friendly and attentive. The chef was amazing, the food was fresh, the fire place... More

The food here was not terrible, but not outstanding. It is probably the best food in Port Arthur, but it was rather expensive for what we got.

Thoroughly recommend doing the Port Arthur after dark package. The dinner at Felons was fine dining and the ghost tour quite thrilling and intriguing.

Ate at Felons on our recent visit to Port Arthur. This was the only place open for Dinner on the Tuesday night that we were at Port Arthur and it turned out to be an excellent meal with good, attentive service and a a more than adequate menu with a good wine list. Can thoroughly recommend it.

Dinner at Felons Bistro was not a positive experience. The service could best be described as non-existent and unprofessional. The quality/price ratio was extremely poor. An overcooked, tough steak (ordered medium rare, presented grey) with an undressed salad and gluggy pepper sauce was $34; a tiny fillet of trevalla with smashed spuds and salsa verde was $32, creme brulee set... We had booked here as part of the Port Arthur Ghost tour. We didn't have a high expectation. How wrong were we. This turned out to be the best meal we had during our stay in Tasmania. I had the seafood chowder and the lamb back strap with macadamia nuts. While my partner upgraded $7 for a huge rib eye.... More
