Fabulous - yet again

Lucky Ducks continues to be a fabulous place to dine. The food is outstanding and in my opinion the best by a long way down the Tasman Peninsula. The cost isn't cheap, but it's well worth it. Dined this time with my family (wife and two children). Had freshly baked bread for entree which we shared... read more

We arrived for lunch. We placed our order and were told that two of the three requests were unavailable. The waitress did not really make much effort to tell us of any alternatives. At times she appeared bored. Eventually we ordered. The food when it arrived was hot and somewhat enjoyable. The prices were considered to be a little expensive,... More

Given the middle of no where location, I was pleasantly surprise with the quality of the lunch. i had the local fish with pesto sauce. It was served with a small salad and some vegs. Everything was tasty and it did not take too long.

From the outside you would just keep driving, as looks a bit like a 1970s corner store where you could get redskins for 20c, but that would be a mistake. Food is exceptional, everything is made in house and is super fresh. Nice local wines too, with the Norfolk Chardonnay being a personal favourite. We ended up dining there two... More

We stopped here for lunch on the way back from Port Arthur. I had the Mediterranean lamb pie and other half had the Filo pastry with salmon and camembert. I can honestly say this was one of the nicest pies I have ever had. Not exactly cheap for lunch, but not your average café.

Stopped for lunch as it was the only place seemingly open when we arrived in town. It was 2 o'clockish when we arrived so a lot that was on the menu was not available. I had a steak and mushroom pie and my wife had a piece of Frittata. Both were homemade and both were very good. Nice coffee and... More

I really appreciated the muesli with fresh fruits and yoghurt made by a cheerful staff. Stop by while travelling on the Tasman Peninsula!
