Not often can you have a meal that is this good. I was a difficult diner asking for vegetarian, with specific likes. The meal was more than I could have ever expected. It was packed with flavor and was the best that I have eaten for many a year, and one that I will remember for a long time The... More

My wife and 6 year old daughter arrived on a busy day (Saturday) and we chose to sit outside to enjoy the magnificent spring weather and the entertainment provided by Macy (the friendly dog). We thought we would get our order in reasonably quickly as we expected a bit of a wait. However, surprisingly our lunch came out rather quickly.... More

We had 24 "touring gardeners" have lunch here. Jane has a beautiful setting for her restaurant. The meal was beau fully presented and everyone was impressed with their choice.

The beautiful garden setting sets for an amazing atmosphere and is definitely worth a stroll whilst you wait for your meal. Salmon is always cooked perfectly and I always order! Service can be a bit slow and but made by the fantastic culinary experience! Don't skip the lemon tart for dessert!! Yum!

We stumbled upon this gorgeous place on the way to Hobart from Cradle Mt. I'm so glad we stopped, it is in a gorgeous leafy green setting, the dining room had lots of character and the chef (Jane) was so kind and clearly cares about her diners. Food was delicious, home cooked and rustic. They were offering some lovely events,... More

We were most surprised with our afternoon, we hadn't booked & were lucky to have a window table with a view. Surroundings were very pleasant, staff were outstanding, both wine & homemade meals were thoroughly delightful. Prices were certainly worth what was delivered. They have a very special Christmas Day Menu...sorry we can't make it ...

After a aimless Sunday drive, we found ourselves outside this lovely character Mill at Longford. The other times we've come past the carpack has been packed to overflowing so we've never stopped before - this time we grabbed the opportunity to experience what we've heard so much about. Set in an old Mill, the Rivers Edge Cafe manages that elusive... More
