Cannot fault food nor service

The building is one of those horrible besser block constructions so popular in in the 80s and 90s. Maybe they're still popular for all I know. They speak to a certain aesthetic that I fervently wish would die a miserable death. Inside, and if it is aesthetics that you are seeking, then this is... read more

The Chinese Wok has been trading for years with the same family. The food which is mostly take out (with only one or two tables for eating in) Is always constantly good.

Don't even think of getting any food from here. The owner is friendly but the food I couldn't eat one thing as it was all so terrible.

I have been to this restaurant one four occasions but I will not return again. I find the service good but food poor and often the quality of the food is second rate. One occasion our order was totally missed up and not what we ordered. Often young people are working in the kitchen and I am concerned about the... More

Living in the area, it is a very special treat to have the odd take-away meal. Great to be able to phone in the order and know that at pick-up time there will be a good meal waiting. We prefer to take our meal home, but there is always the possibility of taking advantage of the eat in facilities.

We had dinner here and ate in. It is more a take away type of place as the decore etc isn't really restaurant standard. Unfortunately the food was very ordinary and very thickly battererd and deep fried. The ladies serving were lovely but the food just didn't cut it. We wont return.

I was in Australia for 2 weeks and started to miss Chinese foods. Visited the Big Wok Chinese restaurant in Longford and met a very lovely lady, Louisa. Awesome sweet and sour porks and honey chicken. You should have a try when you visit Big Wok. Thank you Louisa for the friendly hospitality :)

Good food, standard Chinese restaurant not offering anything special. More suited for takeaway and with no eftpos

Staff were helpful. Food was very average, a very basic Chinese meal really. Had the sweet and sour pork, satay chicken and fried rice and none of it was good.

Thanks to TripmAdvisor we found The Chinese Big Wok. We booked because of the recommendations, but checkedit out beforehand and realised it was really just take away. Very impressed with the Honey Chicken
