So nice we tried it twice

My fiancé and I have been here twice now, the most recent visit was with my mother in law. The pizzas are amazing and coffee is beautifully expressed, you will not be disappointed.

Only stopped for a coffee twice - but it was obvious this place is much more than a great coffee shop. Service was excellent - they even made us coffees 30 mins before opening after we rang to see if they were open. Menu and food looked great and view was wonderful.

Having spent a bit of time looking about Freycinet we decided to pop into Coles Bay for lunch, not a lot of choice so this was it. The outside area was full so we ate inside, quite cramped and whilst directed to a table that could at best sit 3 (there were 4 of us) we opted for another seat,... More

Excellent pizzas and mussels (and beer and fries) in a little restaurant in a little town. We were there off-season (deep mid-winter), but it was still busy and they were serving top class food at very reasonable prices. Knowledgable and friendly staff.

We went to Tombolo for a well-earned lunch after walking to Wineglass Bay. Despite being a large group of 8 - the meals came very quickly. The staff were very friendly and very accommodating. We enjoyed it so much we returned for dinner - this time for takeaway wood fired pizza's, and coffee the following morning. Excellent food, excellent service.... More

While staying in Coles Bay we went to this restaurant a couple of times as the food and atmosphere were great and the staff so friendly. Can definitely recommend this place.

Coles Bay is a pretty spot and a small village feel. The cafe fits the environment and the food was some of the freshest seafood we had. Oysters, fish & chips and a pumkin salad were all fresh, tasty and a generous portion. Coffees also good. Only word of caution is if you need the bathroom, go first at the... More

Faultless food and service and well located - can thoroughly recommend Tombolo as a must to visit when in Coles Bay or visiting the Freycinet National Park

We really enjoyed our margherita pizza. The crust had a nice amount of chew. The pumpkin in our shared salad could have been roasted a little more, but the flavors were good. The Thursday night special included a glass of wine for one dollar more with your pizza. Considering the price of alcohol in Tasmania, that's the deal of the... More

This was probably the only reasonably priced place to eat on the Freycinet Peninsula. We turned up as a family of 4 on the off chance of a table, and the owner squeezed us in to a nice little dining area at the back. The menu is quite small, but understandably so given the location, and the fresh cooked nature.... More
