Best casual dining in Freycinet

If you can brave the cold, opt to sit outside and you will get a nice view of the Hazards. This is probably the best of the casual dining options available in Freycinet. There is not a great range on the menu but everything is done well and locally sourced. The staff are really friendly and... read more

Quaint small cafe with friendly staff. On a cold day, the pulled pork pizza was very tasty and tender. It's a real two-thumbs up with a toe thrown in rating!

Very friendly staff in a serene setting. The coffee is top quality and the food servings both generous and delicious. The best place to eat for quality Tassie cuisine in Freycinet

Not much choice in Coles bay but it is good to see that they are proud of the quality and even running specials which was nice. Sitting out in the sun the view is lovely. We even had some of the wildlife join us as a Kookaburra sat on the fence next to our table for most of the meal

Went for coffee and cake. Offered a seat straight away, took a while for service. Cake was ok, coffee was good.

Went to find breakfast there wasn't any. Even a toastie would have worked instead of average coffee and ok muffin ! Lovely little town area maybe the brick over pizza is good but we didn't get that

We arrived late on a cold and rainy night. The hosts quickly fitted us in to the small space and the pizzas arrived quickly and were pretty good. Very nice wines by the glass. The table next to us ordered the fried fish and made us quite jealous - a huge chock of perfectly battered trevalla.

Liked that they did their own pizza bases and gluten free as well. The quality was just not there with the toppings.

Tombolo would have to have the best view of any eatery on the Coast. We had the best thin crust pizza imaginable. Awesome coffee and cakes and the staff were simply lovely.
