Don't let the seagulls steal your chips!

Dropped in for lunch with the family, on my Sunday. Expected it to be chaos but was well coordinated, seated quickly. Order taken and arrived promptly, family happy (including vegetarian ones who had the feta salad) Great location, right on the beach so can watch the kids run amok.

Had breakfast here on Saturday morning... Service was prompt, food arrived hot & fresh in a reasonable amount of time. Was very tasty - the servings were huge. I had poached eggs & bacon, 2 friends had scrambled eggs and salmon, and 2 other friends had eggs benedict.

Fish Frenzy is a reliable family favourite serving top-notch fish and chips, tasty side salads, Valhalla ice cream and coffee.. all with a view of the beach. It's licensed, with a great selection of Tasmanian beers and wines, Gillespies ginger beer and O'Brien gluten free beer. Often open when other cafes and restaurants in Burnie are not.

My partner and I LOVE going to Fish Frenzy. We always get the 'Frenzy Wrap' which comes with chips and never disappoints. It's always delicious and the service is great and really fast. One of our favourite places to eat in Hobart and Burnie.

Wonderful fish and chips and oysters were terrific. Take away worked well, we were only 5 mins away and it stayed hot enough. Lovely experience on our first trip to Burnie.

I ate here a few times and it was good food every time. It's right on the beach under the Surf club with fantastic views of the beach and across Bass Strait. The fish and chips are good !

Passing through Burnie and decided to stop for lunch and were please we did. It was busy, but no problem getting a table. We were on the way to the airport so not much time to spare and fortunately we didn't have to worry as the service was fast. Fantastic views from a modern building, great staff and easy parking.... Decided to visit Fish Frenzie for dinner since it is a little more "relaxed", low key dining. It was busy, we got the last table but we noticed turn over was quick so this didn't seem to be an issue. Ordered a selection to share, and were surprised with how quickly the food arrived. Food was pretty amazing, calamari was... More
