This is a favourite place of ours, we always order the seafood platter with coconut prawns, thai fish cakes, calamari, scallops, flake, sweet chilli prawn kebabs, chips and salad, phew so much to eat for $45, definitely value for money and would thoroughly recommend.

It's got a great varied menu and it's always yummy! Reasonably priced with decent servings and the service always excellent.

We've been to this restaurant 3 times over the time it has been opened and have never been disappointed. The seafood platter for two is very good and really reasonably in price at $45.50. Great variety of local seafood, all cooked well. Refreshing salad and a generous service of chips. Service was friendly and pleasant. Well done, we will indeed... More

Many visits to this little restaurant. It offers great seafood in a casual atmosphere with friendly, efficient staff. The Seafood Platter for 2 is a challenge we have not quite mastered yet..... but we haven't given up. Their fresh juice drink is very refreshing. Everything I have ever tried has been great. I have also heard that they do amazing... More

Living in the Burnie community and exchanging views of familt and friends on dining out this would be the most exspensive fish and chips in Burnie i had takeaway from here once and never went back i give this eatery a 1 out of 10,and coming from a foodie like me thats not good.

What a fantastic Eatery! We were stunned when our "Edge Share Platter for 2" was placed in front of us...there was Flake, chilli spiced calamari, scallops, cocoanut prawns, prawn skewers, Thai fish cakes, chips, garden salad and a trio of dipping sauces... we could not eat it all! And the price, just $45.50.we know where we are heading next time!

We stopped here looking for some local fish and chips and were very happy with the food and the service. The prices are fair but not cheap especially when you see the size of what is served. With our fish, we ordered a couple of serves of chips to share between three of us when one would have been plenty!... More

While more resembling a cafe establishment, this little place some 2kms from Burnie provides some of the best cooked seafood dishes that one could wish for. The menu is not extensive but what is available is fresh and cooked perfectly. As for the seafood platter for 2, it is doubtful whether any two diners could eat all that is served.

We love FOTE as the food is always excellent with lovely fresh fish. We have been assured they source responsibly from sustainable sources. Should say so on the menu! Service quick and friendly. Just a touch expensive for a small restaurant but that doesn't stop us going.

Thank you for taking the time to post a review and dining with us. In regards to pricing we do not apologise for saucing the most local and freshest seafood available, unfortunately it is expensive. Rest assured you will be consuming some of the tastiest seafood money can buy which has been cooked with love. More

Fish on the Edge do great fish and chips and I go there often. Whilst I haven't had it, their seafood platter for 2 is massive and you certainly wouldn't go away hungry!
