This a must stop for anyone who likes motor cycles and old stuff. The old hotel is just so interesting to see and imagine a bygone day. The staff were very friendly and you should take the time to look at the sculptures and memorabilia.

We were staying in Walcha after a weekend ride of 6 couples. we had breakfast here ans it was great, the food was cooked just right and the servings were generous and of a high standard. some in our group even said the breakfast was the best they had ever had. The place as a rustic and eclectic theme about... More

Really lovely old school accommodation, The decor was terrific, food was awesome as were the staff, the owner also being a bike nut allowed us to put ours in his shed during our 2 night stay. They even called a few days after we left to check we enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended.

We called in here for breakfast over the New Year period whilst staying in the area. After waiting half an hour for our breakfast, we were told there were no hash browns & did we want an extra piece of toast (not a very fair alternative) and then waited an extra 15 mins to receive our meals, which then had... Myself and my husband had the pleasure of attending a wedding at Walcha on the 14th November. We stayed the Friday and Saturday night. I loved the accommodation, even though the bathrooms were a share basis. The room was spacious, offered all of the amenities a city motel/hotel might offer but with lots of atmosphere and quirkiness. If there was... More

We came here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. We all enjoyed our meals and coffees. It's basic food but it's done well and is generous in serving size. The lady that helped us, I assumed the owner, was really friendly and very efficient. The decor is great, lots of collectables and memorabilia to look at! The cafe is open... More

Sitting outside was a treat on a pleasant day watching hundreds of bikers arrive on all different styles of motor bikes. They were pleasant and willing to talk about their bikes and adventures otherwise they kept to themselves. Food good value for money, service a little slow.

After several days camping in my swag & a thunderstorm on my last night. A big brekky seemed the way to go. 2 eggs, 2 sausages, 2 rashers of bacon , hash brown, tomato & toast. $17 plus a large coffee total $21. To find out it would cost 70c to use my card was a bit steep. Lucky I... More

We decided to go for breakfast at the Walcha Royal cafe as the outside tables were in full sun on a cool winter's morning. We ordered inside which had some great old world motorcycle memorabilia. We ordered Bacon and Eggs on Toast with Coffee. Breakfast was soon delivered even though the place was very busy, and was great. There were... More

Great Breakfast here. Stopped with a large group and at short notice. We were all served quickly and the meals prepped and sent out fast and hot. Very good experience in a small country town.
