Good place for a coffee or tea break

We enjoyed a very good cup of coffee at The Tea Rooms, where according information from a local citizen also good breakfasts and lunches are being served.

This place was recomended by our hosts, it was a very pretty drive in the rain, did see Kangaroos. The scones are well worth the drive, tea good an hot. Lots of table and chairs in an outside.

Delightful place to take visitors. Home made soups...go for the pea and ham...and scones. Outside can be a little chilly but very pleasant. Would have had five stars but service is a bit slow, but very accommodating. The other visitors' plates looked great...substantial sandwiches etc.

Chris and her staff are courteous and friendly. You have the choice of sitting inside or outside with the 24/7 combustion fire going, out on the covered verandah or in the open with the birds in the trees overlooking the paddocks and cliffs faces. Homemade jams are for sale. The menu gives a good selection of breakfast and lunch choices... More

The breakfasts and morning/afternoon teas are great, but lunch can be a bit hit-and-miss. Location perfect.

There's nothing which elevates the food and service here above the acceptable, except the authenticity of it. What is wonderful about this place is the overall experience. The drive to the Tea Rooms is a real adventure as one descends through the wet semi tropical rainforest into the dryer grazing lands of the valley below, replete with the view to... More

We went and had scones, soup and sausage rolls and pies and it was all great, with good coffee. Service was friendly and country style didn't get any of the issues others had and it was a busy Sunday lunch.

Visited twice during our stay in the area. Afternoon tea stop OK but the apple pie far cry from write up on menu! Made more so as sighted boxes of sliced apples rather than stated ones from the orchard! Also spray cream rather than real. Following day breakfast visit. Food OK but service unspeaking but efficient compared with gushing platitudes... More
