One of the best

Fantastic experience from start to finish. A real treat in the mountains to have this level of skill in a chef. Will be back

Really enjoyed the tasting plate with the matching wines. Every course was bursting with taste, and the cauliflower Veloute was too die. The courses were just the right size. We were full by the finish, but enjoyed the Last bite as much as the first.

Food is nice but meals are very small. Would have liked more side options rather than just chips or green beans. Overall not bad but I thinks it's overpriced for what you get.

This has been my favourite restaurant for a long time. However I feel it is losing its edge, and reading some of the reviews below, I feel that others are sensing it too. It is expensive and I am willing to pay if it is top notch. The servings are smallish, but most restaurants over serve. I usually am satisfied... More

We visited Ashcroft, ordered 6 course tasting menu with wine, and we had an excellent evening! The staff were professional and friendly. The food was amazing, and the wine matched beautifully!

Looking for somewhere special for a long overdue date wnight we headed straight to Ashcrofts purely on it's reputation and was not disappointed. The crisp , perfect lit dinning room and warm welcome from the hostess set the stage for a great night. We enjoyed entrées of perfectly prepared scollops & brandade and suculant pork belly .. both were delicious.... More

The services was great, waitresses were very attentive and friendly. However, the size of the food are too small for this price. I have read some of the others’ comments and ordered entrée, main and desserts separately rather than the tasting menu. And still, the portions were very small. I have ordered all their 4 main courses - duck, barramundi,... More

White linen, elegant in style, pleasant, skilled, inconspicuous staff. Peaceful ambiance. Food is expensive but high quality - all four of our party rated it a very pleasant evening and excellent meal.

Unless you have a very small appetite and don't mind paying $100 per person for six dishes that could all be served on one plate (cause they are so small)!! My husband and I were very excited to dine here based on the menu. We were very disappointed with the serving size (ended up getting pizza afterwards)! Having said that,... More

We went to Ashcrofts for the degustation dinner last Saturday night, 6 courses with matching wines. Although the food was exceptionally tasty, the portions were tiny, the restaurant ran out of wine of the matching wines, and in amongst the courses there was no red meat, only duck matched with a pinot. For the price, $150 pp,I expected better, a... More
