We have passed this restaurant for years in our travels and have always wanted to experience the venue. Finally last weekend we had the chance. We physically visited the restaurant to make our booking earlier in the day and made it for the time the staff suggested (as they said there was a few bookings earlier in the night). Numerous... Thank you for your contribution. I was going to apologise to you as the owner, but as you believe that constant apologies lose their sincerity, I shall refrain - eventhough I am sincere. That night, my head chef cooked and prepared all meals BY HIMSELF, his game doesn't have to lift at all. My second chef, just after service commenced... More

We walked in on a Tuesday night and the Trattoria was pretty full. Our experience here was very good with friendly waiters and excellent food. Servings were generous, and very tasty. Happy to recommend to families, as the prices are reasonable.

We have eaten here twice before and the regular chef knows how a blue steak is done. However, previous experiences aside, our last visit was not so pleasant. I asked for my usual blue steak with mushroom sauce on the side. When it arrived, their was a pile of sauteed mushrooms on top and the steak was not of good... More

Good value food, good that you can BYO as well. We had a scotch fillet steak and veal dish. Both quite nice. Service was ok staff also polite, was reasonably quiet when we got there but then filled up to near capacity after that. Still a bit too slow at around 45 mins wait for meals to arrive. Decor is... We spent our Easter holidays in the blue mountains and experienced some very overpriced and mediocre service and food in some of the areas more prestigious restaurants. What a surprise it was to find this place. After a recommendation from some locals we decided to come for dinner. It was a busy Saturday night, the place was full and we... More

We've been meaning to try this little restaurant in Blackheath as we pass it every time we travel west to Mount Victoria, Lithgow, or Beyond. This time round, on our return, we did. We had a little girl and an infant in our company, and the restaurant was very accommodating. There was a fantastic selection of regional Wines at reasonable... More

The service was exceptional. Very friendly could not complain. The beer tasted like the glass was not rinsed after it was washed in soap suds. The garlic loaf was like it was warmed up after the last person did not eat. I asked for a medium t-bone and got a well done piece of meat. Could not eat. The waitress... More
