Good range of pub food, average price and OK for quality. Couldn't complain about its appearance, delay or costs. Service from a couple of youngish girls. Nothing flash just 'want do you want',... Had lunch here on a weekend day, not overly busy and very inexpensive. I just has a Asian Entree plate ($13) which was huge, 6 x mini samosa, 4 x calamari rings, 6 x mini spring rolls and 4 x dim sims with dipping sauce and couldn't get through it all. They had Toohey's Old on tap at $3.40 for... More

Large old Pub, the time we went was on a long weekend and was crowded. Long waits to order food, and food was very average. I ordered Chicken and asparagus, chicken over cooked and 2 pieces of asparagus. I am sure there is better around the area.

I have stayed here a few times over many years because the price is very affordable and the rooms are clean and tidy, as are the bathrooms - shared or ensuite. Unfortunately however, they seem to have issues with maintaining a consistent hot water temperature for the showers - so be prepared that you may not be very lucky to... More

The restaurant part has a very good family atmosphere and it suits children very well. There is a huge fire and several television screen, the food is excellent. They have a 'family night' with a cheap menu and the food is just as good.

Just had to turn away 2 chicken parmigiana's as they were both raw and then I swapped for a steak - mostly gristle, lumpy gravy and limp salad. I'm a local. Very disappointed - Won't b back in a hurry. Wait staff lovely but need new management in the kitchen. Pick up your act!

4 of us called in for lunch on Saturday. We all selected different meals and they were beautiful. Our order was taken straight away and delivered very quickly. The service was quick and friendly. We will definitely be calling in for lunch another day

Smells old, stale and dreadful. Food is poor quality pub grub. Don't waste your time or money at this place. The other pub a few doors down is no better. Surely someone can give Blackheath a pub revival, because both of them really need it!
